It hurts to walk, but she's been walking a bit lately. Lots of things still hurt, but she is able to eat normal food and to sleep. She should be able to head home tomorrow or Saturday. I'd say overall she's doing pretty good.

yes. after a w months of trying to get pregnant, we end up with this. My wife almost died, but she's stable now. I'm glad she made it, but it really causes me to reflect on life and family.
This a few days after her grandpa's funeral.
I'm sorry to hear that. My wife and I have only one child (who is now 15), and about three years ago she was tested positive for a pregnancy, but got very sick with extreme pains, and it turned out she had an ectopic pregnancy. They had to give her a dose of a chemotherapy medicine to kill the cell clump, and she recovered fine. It wasn't a good situation though. I'm sorry to hear about how serious it was for your wife, and I'm glad that she'll be ok now. Get some flowers from the hospital gift shop for her for Valentines, if you haven't already, and make sure she knows how much you love her.
Mormonism ceased being a compelling topic for me when I finally came to terms with its transformation from a personality cult into a combination of a real estate company, a SuperPac, and Westboro Baptist Church. - Kishkumen

The first tentative steps back to stability. Keep your head up. It'll be okay. Something as simple as eating normal food and sleeping is a huge blessing, believe me. It may not seem so right now, but it is. I'll continue to keep you both in my prayers. I'm glad she's improving.

we're home from the hospital . Things will be okay. It's strangely comforting to realize how common this is. The doctor said it's the leading cause of death for pregnant women (i think) because it's hard to detect.
Thanks for all your thoughts. I apologize for tacitly calling B&L a name while he decided to give me a break and not have a comeback. I think that as rude as he often is, he has a decent side to him. Anyhow, please feel free to treat me as usual. It'll make me feel more normal. I rarely get upset here anyhow.

Just came on to wish you guys well. In a way I guess you guys are blessed in that you didn't get attached, but it is very hard and I am glad your wife is out of hospital and on the mend. It is a horrible thing for anyone to go through. Dang, I have about 2 mins to eat my pot noodle.
God bless you two.
