I don't see an employment link on the website for Mar a Lago. I'd be happy to check into the housekeeping jobs. :-)

I wonder if those illegal immigrants were able to take advantage of that sweet 401k with the robust $10/hr and free parking perks?

I wonder if any property flippers on this forum might offer a more competitive package than Mr. Trump?

I've never paid into a 401K. Does that include matching funds by the employer and wonder what that would leave you from the 10 crappy bucks after state and federal are taken out of it?

$10/hr is $1,600/month assuming you work 40 hrs/week.

You can contribute as much as you want but most people contribute whatever the company will match. So if you contribute 4.5% of your income to a 401k that's $72/month. That's just $18/ week. The company will match that contribution so that's $144/month. But the company portion doesn't fully vest until 5 years. You get to actually keep 20% each year you're there until the fifth year.

So after 5 years you'll have around $8,600 invested in the 401k, plus whatever return you may have on it. $4,300 of that was your own contribution.

The biggest deduction from the paycheck is likely going to be enrollment in the company healthcare plan, which isn't free. They probably have a multi plan option ranging from $40-100 per week, depending on deductibles/copays and coverage limits.

I love how they offer "free golf" to the housemaids, something they're likely to rarely if ever take advantage of.

We pay two Brazilian women roughly $200 when they clean our house every month or so. They're usually done in 3 hours so if you break it down by hour, we pay them each $30-40/hour. Of course this isn't including benefits.
