What we're seeing in progressive opposition to school choice is not support for lower income people of color; the people who are the loudest about systems failing Black Americans are in fact hindering the very change needed to positively alter the trajectory of many Black children. The fact that he is Black is interesting. That is not the only reason I care what he says. The fact that you do not care what he thinks says more about you, than it does about me. A view, experience or opinion is unique when it is personal and authentic. Your need to classify and compartmentalize people by their race and affiliation with a political party is noted. That has always been the case with you. You filter information first by race and then by political affiliation. You classify people based on race and political affiliation. In this case, you have done so without considering anything that the person said or anything the person has done. You judged based solely on skin color and assumed voter registration.
