Carlson’s exit is related to the discrimination lawsuit filed by Abby Grossberg, a producer fired by the network last month, the sources said. Carlson’s senior executive producer, Justin Wells, has also been terminated, according to insiders.
It also hints that Murdoch may have just plain ole not liked Carlson for various reasons.
Welp, may he find a new home, where he can once again profitably peddle things for his right-wing overlords by day, and text things like this by night:
“What [Trump's] good at is destroying things. He’s the undisputed world champion of that. He could easily destroy us if we play it wrong.”
“I hate [Trump] passionately. We’re all pretending we’ve got a lot to show for it, because admitting what a disaster it’s been is too tough to digest. But come on. There really isn’t an upside to Trump.”
Could it be that Fox asked him to leave? It seems strange that they would. After all, Tucker is their highest-rated host, again making Fox a lot of money. So, if they did fire him, it would have to be for something serious.
He also cost them a lot of money in the Dominion lawsuit. Dan Bongino was fired as well because both of these men were willing to say things other hosts would not dare to say. Tucker also had some harsh words for the higher ups at Fox on calling Arizona for Biden that came out as his private texts were revealed during the Dominion lawsuit. This is not the end for Tucker. Bill O'Reilly and Glenn Beck went on to make much more money after being fired from Fox. It's not the end for Fox nor Rupert Murdoch either. Fox still went on to have comparatively good ratings compared to CNN and MSNBC even after firing O'Reilly and Beck. I admit that it's only a matter of time before the authoritarian communists leading the Democrat party, the DOJ, and Big Tech are able to deplatform their political opponents and relegate them to the dark web. But I'm not worried about Tucker. He doesn't need Fox News.
Now that I think about it a little more, I think this may be the end for Big Cable Television in Right Wing Media. Their immense capital is going to impair them from telling truths that other outlets can, especially in places like Washington D.C. where judges and juries are 99% left wing Democrat or RINO. Consumers already don't trust CNN, Fox, etc and for good reason. It's going to be especially hard for Democrats to crack down on political dissent online, especially after losing control of Twitter. And when they have to resort to suing people like me, they're going to find themselves trying to squeeze blood from a turnip.

And when the Confederates saw Jackson standing fearless like a stonewall, the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

Don't forget about Alex Jones. If Tucker goes off on his own, he might wind up the target of the lawsuits directly without his network to shield him if he keeps "telling the truth" like he did on Fox. It's too bad optometry and roofing is far enough removed from politics that "truth tellers" like Tucker will never give you the opportunity to see what it's like to persistently have "the truth told" about your place of work.

Yeah I'm really not sure what happens next. Glenn Beck did tell Rod Meldrum that it's only a matter of time before they take him off the air. As long as the left controls federal courts they can pretty much bankrupt anyone who expresses political opinion that falls right of center anywhere in the US, not just urban areas where they choose to bring the lawsuits to be adjudicated by politically sympathetic judges and juries. But as Joseph Smith said, truth will cut its own way, even in places like communist China, Russia, or North Korea. But that won't stop the consequences and suffering that will surely result in post constitutional America.

oh yeah...lots of examples of that, happening all the time. tens of millions of Trump supporters in danger of bankruptcy for what they say on Twitter etc. You're very brave for continuing to come to this forum and tell the truth like you do, Ajax.

Well I do it anonymously.

You're whistling Dixie again.
Those Democrats are in the grips of the diabolical Chinese General Tso and they are too chicken to disregard the orders.
Why is Tucker leaving Fox? After all, they make each other a lot of money. Could it be that Tucker wants to strike out on his own? Maybe, but he would be leaving a large chunk of his audience behind, maybe even most of it. Maybe something more nefarious is afoot? I’m just asking questions, folks.

If it was serious, then it was probably very serious. Like, 'wanting to date teenaged girls’ serious. Not that I'm saying Tucker is known for dating kids ... no one has accused him of that, as far as I know. But he makes Fox a lot of money, enough that those suitably focused on the bottom line might overlook the occasional dalliance with a teen … as long as it wasn't an recorded or anything. Maybe dating 14-year-old girls would be okay, but definitely not ok if caught on camera.
Of course, nobody is saying Tucker Carlson is into 14-year-old girls. In fact, we don't even know that he was fired. Not for certain, in any case. But it does make you wonder... how many kids would Tucker Carlson have to fool around with before Fox News fired him? Neither Fox nor Tucker have clarified their stance on dating teenagers, so we may never know.

I read that 40% of advertiser money for Tucker comes from the Mu Pillow guy. Most advertisers don't want anything to do with Tucker which is why he sometimes does his show with no commercials just to make sure no one is flipping channels to see the State of the Union address. FOX gets money from Tucker by gouging Direct TV customers by jacking up their fees, but I think management is beginning to see the writing on the wall here. In 10 years cable networks like DirectTV will be obsolete and no one wants to advertise for Tucker because he's too controversial.

I think there is likely something else going on none of us know about, especially given the fact that Tucker hasn't spoken about this subject since it happened which is unlike him. There could be some legal battles ahead of us between him and FOX.

Tucker fills in the 8pm time slot, which made him their highest rated host just like it did Bill O'Reilly and Megyn Kelly. It's just plug and play over at FOX. I read that the 8pm show had the highest ratings during its first night without Tucker.
