I'm just saying that the ambulance is obscenely expensive even if you have insurance. We go to the ER in our automobile in my family. Well let me restate that, "We go to ReadyMed Walkin clinic in the car." No ambulances and no ERs unless it's an emergency that an ambulance or ER could do more to help. If I'm going to die anyway, I'd rather my kids get that $700. That's freedom to manage one's own health.

And when the Confederates saw Jackson standing fearless like a stonewall, the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

You’re describing capitalism, not socialism.ajax18 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 28, 2023 5:21 pmI'm just saying that the ambulance is obscenely expensive even if you have insurance. Minimally if any. The bulk of the reason I'm where I am today is my parents not the welfare state.Actually, you've admitted socialism has helped you.

Socialism is when other people decide when you need an ambulance and then they either send a bill to the taxpayer or more often than not just borrow money from China to "pay" for it.Doctor CamNC4Me wrote: ↑Tue Nov 28, 2023 5:37 pmYou’re describing capitalism, not socialism.ajax18 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 28, 2023 5:21 pmI'm just saying that the ambulance is obscenely expensive even if you have insurance. If any of you ever find me unconscious from a medical emergency, please don't wait on rendering aid on the off chance I might wake up to discuss whether I prefer that socialism or capitalism saves my life.
"Welp, this man is bleeding to death, and has lost consciousness from blood loss. Anyone know if he's a capitalist? No? Well... I guess we wait to see if the basic laws of the universe cease to function so he wakes up to let us know."

That’s literally not socialism. That’s bad policy built around the intransigent morons who run the GOP.ajax18 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 28, 2023 6:06 pmSocialism is when other people decide when you need an ambulance and then they either send a bill to the taxpayer or more often than not just borrow money from China to "pay" for it.Doctor CamNC4Me wrote: ↑Tue Nov 28, 2023 5:37 pmYou’re describing capitalism, not socialism.

Will someone please tell me what "SFMY" stands for? A check of acronymfinder.com revealed nothing.

"I have learned with what evils tyranny infects a state. For it frustrates all the virtues, robs freedom of its lofty mood, and opens a school of fawning and terror, inasmuch as it leaves matters not to the wisdom of the laws, but to the angry whim of those who are in authority.”

Dr. Shades, you seem to get hung up on these frequently. Have you ever watched wheel of fortune? Start with the obvious: You know what the "F" means, so always start there and see where it leads. Will someone please tell me what "SFMY" stands for? A check of acronymfinder.com revealed nothing.
