Thank you. Yeah, voters are entitled to their opinions. I wonder if the poll was conducted after the trial or the indictment? I’m sure timing has bearing on the results - it’d be interesting to see the same poll results after his conviction if indeed it was done before.

That said, public opinion aside, the strength of the case and its basis in law should guide opinion, imho.

Biden says that you can't only love your country when you win. Well you can't only respect congressional subpoenas when they come from your own party. Yet that's the way partisan political justice works in America. When you have a social contract, that doesn't mean that one side gets to act immorally because they don't believe in God, while holding the other side to the highest of Christian standards. It means equal justice under the law without regard to political party. If you want to beat Donald Trump then do it in a free and fair election. If you want to rip up the social contract when it looks like you have a chance of losing and use whatever dirty trick at your disposal to get your way, then why would you ever expect the other side not to do the same? The Confederates and the Yankees had more honor between enemies than we have today. We may not be killing each other yet, but in many ways we've sunk way lower and diminished the reputation of this country far more than they ever did.

He's been making excuses for losing it since it was announced. That's Trump main strategy: blame everyone else for being a natural loser before he actually loses.

When they are standing side by side and you get to listen to both of them, you'll see that Trump is easily as addled and old as Biden, and that freaks Trump out.

It's got to be hard for a lot of Trump fans, because deep in their hearts, they know Trump is a screwup and they have to keep making excuses for him. You have your ajax types who are honestly too stupid to judge his character accurately, but there has to be a few people who are uncomfortable with their adoration of such an incompetent asshole.

It's not like Biden supporters don't see Biden's flaws. They just know he's not the same threat to America that Trump is. They don't have to lie on his behalf like MAGAtes are forced to.

It's not that complicated. This debate is a bad idea for Trump. It's already been rigged as has every debate by the partisan liberal media who makes the rules on what is allowed to be said. Biden lied through the entire last debate and the media, CIA, etc. successfully covered for him. The real debate is whether Bidenomics is working for you. Only poverty and economic devastation will incite people to find the truth, which they'll do on their own, not by tuning in to Democrat political theatre. But by then it will be too late. It sort of already is.

Republicans should have quit debating after Candy Crowley falsely fact checked Mitt Romney in real time. First comes the testimony of the prophets, second comes the testimony of famine and earthquakes. Which do you think will be more persuasive?
