Trump Has Now Put The US In A Direct Confrontation With Europe Over Greenland

Not since the American war of independence have Europe and the US been in such direct confrontation as this moment. All of this precedent, all of these years of peace and prosperity have been upturned by the act of a single man. We have reached a turning point and in this video, I explain why.

Does anyone not see that Dr. Razzaque is right to be alarmed by what Trump is trying to do here? Our country has had an excellent and mutually beneficial relationship with our European allies since 1949 that has been an essential counterweight to the malign despots of the USSR and Russia that has ensured a lasting peace. Now Trump is threatening to end all that and turn America into an international pariah and alienate us from our closest friends and partners. How does this make any sense? Does anyone doubt that this will jeopardize ending for a long time to come the leadership, trust and respect we have long enjoyed in the rest if the world, especially amongst our longstanding friendly relationship and cooperation with democracies all over the world, especially in Europe?

If that is Dr. Razz's latest, I have not watched it yet today. I can say that I've come to trust his analysis and yes, I do fact check his statements for accuracy. I've not found him in error on that count. He comes ready with facts in hand and so far as I can tell, sound psychological analysis.

He is typically well measured in his presentation. One or two videos ago, I thought I saw anger or disgust in his eyes but he never expressed anger or disgust.

Honestly, I've said this so many times already. If you don't understand what's behind the behaviors psychologically, you won't fully understand what you're seeing take place or be in a position to possibly predict the next move based on what motivates the players. In the case of Trump and let's short list it and just say, JD Vance, Stephen Miller...the motivations are rooted in childhood. I double dog guarantee it.

I make no predictions, but it is beginning to look as though major European nations are likely to unite in saying to Trump "No, we have tried our best to avoid coming to this point, but we have reached our limit: we cannot let you seize the territory of another member of NATO by force or other means of coercion. Do your worst and we shall respond as best we can."

It may not come to that. I hope it will not. But if it does, it will be hard to reverse the changes that will follow, and who knows what their consequences may be?

Trump dismissed the idea that Norway has no sway over the Nobel Peace Prize competition and that the decision is entirely up to the committee.

“Norway totally controls it despite what they say,” he told NBC News. “They like to say they have nothing to do with it, but they have everything thing to do with it,” the president added.

Others have insisted that’s not the case.

Lewis Lukens, who was a senior diplomat in the U.S. Embassy in London during Trump’s first term, said in a recent interview: “I’m not sure who Trump thinks he can intimidate or pressure to get a prize. One would hope that he has people around him who are telling him there’s no point in antagonizing or pressuring the Norwegian government, because they have nothing to do with it.”

Trump reiterated a point he’s made before in discussing the Nobel. Through his peacemaking efforts, he said he has stopped eight wars and saved many lives — a greater reward.

“I don’t care about the Nobel Prize,” he said.
