The Florida Seminole tribe says he lied about being a tribe member. Sayoc's own family says he isn't native American. Just more Dog lies in defense of his god Trump.

https://www.miamiherald.com/latest-news ... 80590.html

From the pro-Trump stickers on his white van to the profile information on his Twitter account, Cesar Sayoc, the Aventura man arrested Friday for allegedly mailing pipe bombs to prominent Democrats, trumpets his affiliation to the Seminole Tribe of Florida.

“Native Americans for Trump” reads one sticker of the Seminole flag posted on the white passenger van that police towed from the AutoZone in Plantation where Sayoc, 56, was arrested.

“Booking Agent / Sales / Marketing / Promotions / Project Mgr Live Events Seminole Hard Rock Live,” reads one of at least two Twitter profiles associated with Sayoc.

“Seminole Indians: An Unconquered Tribe,” reads a slide-show frame posted on Oct. 12 to a Twitter account, @hardrock2016, that appears to belong to Sayoc and includes a photo him holding up a sign of the American flag, with the lettering, “Welcome President Trump”.

This screen grab of a photo posted to a Twitter account that appears to belong to Cesar Sayoc shows Sayoc, 56, of Aventura, at a rally for President Donald Trump. Sayoc was arrested Friday for allegedly mailing pipe bombs to prominent Democrats.
But the Seminole Tribe strongly denies that Sayoc has ever been a member of the prominent Native American group, which owns a global business of casinos, restaurants and hotels, including the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino near Hollywood. The Seminole entertainment empire generates an estimated annual operating profit of $1.5 billion, according to Forbes magazine.

Tribe spokesman Gary Bitner, alluding to the many social media profiles that appear to be associated with Sayoc, flatly rejected the assertion that Sayoc is affiliated with the tribe.

“We can find no evidence that Cesar Altieri, Caesar Altieri, Caesar Altieri Sayoc, Ceasar Altieri Randazzo (Facebook) or Julus Cesar Milan (Twitter) is or was a member or employee of the Seminole Tribe of Florida, or is or was an employee of Seminole Gaming or Hard Rock International,” Bitner said in an email. “At this time, we cannot verify if he is or was an employee of a vendor company.”

Sayoc, who claims to be a former professional soccer player, wrestler and cage fighter in a Twitter account profile, has lived in South Florida for decades, according to court filings, property records and other documents.

He was born in Brooklyn in 1962, the son of a Filipino immigrant, and attended North Miami Beach High School, according to information from ancestry.com, the genealogy company that tests the DNA of customers to reveal ancestral roots.

I couldn't get the graphic to display, but he certainly has Christian imagery on the side of his van.

Dog, your use of Washington Post editorial as supposed proof of whatever point you’re trying to make only proves that you (and the Twitterbot using it) didn’t bother to actually read the editorial.

Ironically, it also proves one of the editorial’s points.

But I understand. You need to blame the bad behavior displayed by some folks on other people that point it out, as opposed to the folks exhibiting the bad behavior. But try to at least find better ‘examples’ to demonstrate your excuses.

I think maybe a review is in order. Here is a list of leftists recently arrested for engaging in acts of violence against republicans. This is not a complete list. How many of these people were discussed here at Mormon Discussions? Please provide links to your previous comment history showing that you are fair and speak out against any and all acts of such violence and that you apply the same set of rules in determining who is responsible.

William Clyde Allen III. Mailed ricin to President, Pentagon, and Sen. Cruz. Notice how the article doesn't even mention Cruz. Nor does it tell us what political party Allen was registered with. Nor does it dig into his Twitter and Facebook activities. Huh, why not?

James T. Hodgkinson. Killed by Capitol Police as he was gunning Republicans down at a baseball game. Injured several, almost killing Rep. Steve Scalise. Bernie Bro. Democrat. Screamed "this is for healthcare" while shooting, a detail which is notably absent from the article. Other things absent from the article, the word "terrorism."

So, still not white? Rgr that. Thanks for chiming in to confirm Chap's racism. And it's kind of sounding like whatever he put on his van was a lie. I'll let the implications of that speak for themselves.

What evidence do you have that what was displayed on his van did not actually represent his beliefs?

'It's kind of sounding like ... ' is a neat line in rumour-mongering, but as President Obama said recently, the growing habit in conservative America of simply 'making stuff up' means that one would be ill-advised to base anything on a statement of this kind.

Even from such a stickler for truth as Water Dog.

Maksutov:
That's the problem with this supernatural stuff, it doesn't really solve anything. It's a placeholder for ignorance.

Any left-leaning types want to own what our side of the aisle has produced with regard to nutjobs and extremists?

You’ve got folks on the left threatening folks on the right.
You’ve got folks on the right threatening folks on the left.

I don’t know how to ‘own’ either because I’m not one of those folks, nor do I egg them on.

Being as it will probably always be the case that nutcases will be part of the population regardless of how they vote, what’s the mature thing for the supposed leader of one side or the other to do?

Whatever that is, Trump doesn’t seem to be doing it. If anything, he seems to be participating in and instigating that behavior. Will he own that? Will any of his base?
