Thanks for doing this, Steuss. I started to, but was so tired of refuting Dog’s false claims in the climate threads that I just let it go. You’d think that Dog would learn not to trust the sources that he copied this crap from, but it’s clear he doesn’t.

I imagine it goes without saying, but just so there are no misunderstandings; I think that quite a few of those listed can most assuredly be classified as left-wing extremists, and their (warped) ideology influenced their actions.

I understood. My comment was directed toward the inclusion of that clearly don’t fit that category.

Well, if I were a modern Republican, I'd probably insinuate that this was a false flag operation or talk about how this is what Republicans should expect when they act like they do.

But since I'm not, I'll just say: shooting at people or other people's property is wrong. It should not be tolerated. Period.

So shots were fired in a GOP campaign office, and, I see no mention of it on CNN, MSNBC, HuffPo, et al. Or Fox. It does appear on Breitbart though, and National Review. And a local ABC station covered it. Funny how one thing gets broadcast from every satellite dish, another thing not a peep. It's almost like certain people don't care about violence against Republicans. What inspired it? It is just pure dice roll coincidence than someone decided to shoot up a Republican campaign office right after a synagogue shooting that the media immediately proceeded to blame on Republicans?

Yeah, it's amazing how much coverage a mass murder gets on the national news when compared with shooting into an unoccupied office.

for what it's worth, I don’t recall much in the way of national attention when the Democrat office was shot up a few months ago in NY. I think the only reason I heard about it was because an in-law posted a short NYP blurb about it.

For better or worse, someone shooting up an empty campaign office just doesn’t seem to get much coverage.

I’m with Res Ipsa. False flag operation. Republicans love shooting stuff.
