The Palestinians have been offered a two state solution many times. They're not interested. When they tell you that they want nothing less than to exterminate every Jew from the river to the sea because the Koran dictates it, you need to believe them whether it's something you would view as moral and rational or even in their own best interests or not. They don't think like you do. They don't believe the same things you do and you're not going to change that. Nation building by the US in the Middle East has been a colossal waste of money and a failure. Just let Israel and Palestine fight it out and try to keep it from turning into a global world war.

A majority polled suggest they don't want a two state solution, true. But a large minority do, and what they want and what they need aren't always the same. They didn't want to have their land taken away from them and given over to their religious enemy of 1400 years either, but the powers that be felt like that was the best thing that needed to happen.

The main reason some of them reject the two state solution is because it requires recognizing Israel's sovereignty.

More Palestinians were killed by Israelis in 2014 than any year since 1967, so I was curious to find out how many beheaded babies triggered all of this.

Apparently three Israelis were hitchhiking when they were abducted.

The Israel Defense Forces immediately initiated Operation Brother's Keeper in search of the three teenagers. On 30 June, their bodies were found in a shallow grave near the town of Halhul. Israeli authorities accused two members of the Palestinian militant group Hamas, Marwan Qawasmeh and Amer Abu Aisha, of carrying out the abduction and murder. As part of the operation, Israel arrested around 350 Palestinians, including nearly all of Hamas' West Bank leaders. The suspects were killed during a standoff with Israeli security forces on 23 September 2014, leading to the end of the operation.

So, Hamas operatives killed a few Israelis and the police got their justice with some added revenge by killing the accused while arresting 350 people who likely had nothing to do with it. But hostilities didn't end there. A month later Israeli citizens abducted a 16 year old Palestinian boy, beat him within an inch of his life, and then burned him alive.

In the aftermath of Khdeir's murder, one of his cousins, Tariq Khdeir, a 15-year-old Palestinian-American boy, was beaten by Israeli police officers in an assault caught on camera. Another one of his cousins, a 19-year-old Mohammed Abu Khdeir, was detained by the Israeli police during a 28 July 2014 protest. Though he was an American citizen, Israel failed to notify US authorities of the arrest and the US has accused Israel of singling out Khdeir family members for arrest.

Must be nice to be the side that has all the power. Just go harass and arrest anyone you want with no consequences, even if they're US citizens.

If a man in New York City punches an otherwise random woman in the face and when asked why replies, "Because you're Jewish," what would the penalty be if he were a white man? What would the penalty be if he were an Arabic man? According to leftist doctrine hate and antisemitism can only exist in white Christian men. When it's a brown Arabic man, antisemitism is socially acceptable, because hey, democrats need their votes. Given the results of their economic and foreign policy, votes are tougher to come by.

It must be disappointing to Jews, especially left leaning Jews, to be under the illusion that they achieved the status of a protected group, only to told by the Democrat party that you're too white and too successful to be a part of our intersectional coalition. You're actually the oppressor. Sorry your babies had their heads chopped off, but Rashida Talib just can't condemn that because it's necessary for decolonization. And no Democrat will throw her out of congress for supporting a terrorist group. In fact, if you're Palestinian, you're now allowed to storm the capital and obstruct congressional hearings. I can't wait to see how Merrick Garland and the partisan political justice system treats this "insurrection," since obstructing a congressional hearing is such a threat to "Democracy!"

I doubt Israel would take you too seriously since Joe Biden himself (the wokest Democrat alive, right?) flew down there personally and among other things, gave his guarantee of continued financial support*, in the billions, including all the Iron Dome ammo they need and a couple of aircraft carriers and threats to Israel's other enemies. It would seem Israel is a very big part of or "intersectional coalition".
