PA update (am I late with this news?):

"They have failed to allege that even a single mail-in ballot was fraudulently cast or counted"

https://6abc.com/donald-Trump-election- ... n/8356617/
Justices also remarked on the lawsuit's staggering demand that an entire election be overturned retroactively.

A couple of the judges noted that they had some questions about the act's constitutionality. They would have remanded the case back to the Commonwealth Court for a trial on the constitutionality issues, but still would have dismissed the claims for relief to declare the election invalid and direct the legislature to pick the electors.
I saw that. That seems to be a sensible attitude. Apart from the fact that the objection is out of time, the idea of junking a whole election in which people have voted according to the law as then written would be crazily disproportionate, especially since it seems unlikely that a modified version of the law that met the objections of some would have produced a different result. However, there's nothing wrong with taking the time to discuss the issue after the dust has settled, so that everybody can be sure there is not a state constitutional problem next time round.
I think so, too. I think a new lawsuit in which the relief sought was a declaration that the law is unconstitutional would be considered on the merits without any fuss.

I’ll be honest with you. I’m having a hard time tracking all the lawsuits and appeals. There are so many that it seems like one ruling after another is being made. So, I take what was discussed on page 24 was this ruling? In other words, while I’m reading articles to understand what’s happening, I can’t seem to keep everything sequential and linear if that makes sense. Plus I’m watching foosball while crap posting which has me moderately distracted.

Biden ended up netting 87 votes from the Wisconsin recount. The Trump campaign plans to file another frivolous lawsuit.
MADISON - Wisconsin's partial recount boosted Democrat Joe Biden's victory by 87 votes Sunday as President Donald Trump said he was preparing a lawsuit to overturn the results.

I’ll move my summary post of all current suits to the beginning of the thread and keep it updated. It is hard to keep them all straight, and I have to consult multiple sources to make sure I have a handle on them.

By the way, has anybody seen Sydney Powell recently?

When last seen, she is said to have had one of these in her handbag:

Maybe it escaped and ate her?

The Kraken certainly could have escaped and swallowed Sidney Powell whole. Even so, the Kraken may be with us for a while. Jill Stein just barely won her lawsuit over the 2016 election in the end of October, 2020. https://markcrispinmiller.com/2020/10/j ... -some-day/

Stein's lawsuits were certainly helpful in getting states to use voting machines that leave an auditable paper trail.

It's a four-day weekend for lots of folks in the U.S., Chap. I expect tomorrow will be a busy day for everyone involved in the post-election litigation.

by the way, the next time a Republican goes on about how horrible it is that Americans are so litigious, remind them of this avalanche of lawsuits.
