“the same as...” ... No. That’s your comprehension handicap kicking in again.
There’s a generation coming up that won’t remember what it was like before this. To them, every fact will merely be a disputed claim. Sandy Hook? “Crisis actors! Prove me wrong!”
“Prove me wrong!” will be the battle cry of the future because all you have to do in an argument is exhaust your opponent. You don’t have to prove THEM wrong; you’ll just have to challenge them to prove YOU wrong. They’ll reel off a couple of pages of thoughtful, considered logic and you’ll say “those sources you just cited are biased, that’s fake news” and dare them to prove it without relying on those sources. Eventually they’ll realize the futility of arguing with an idiot and quit the field, and that’s when you win.
In the future there won’t be sources you trust because you’ve ensured their reliability, there’ll be sources you trust because they say things you want to believe. Reality will be a matter of opinion.
Perhaps the future is now...

In the face of madness, rationality has no power - Xiao Wang, US historiographer, 2287 AD.
Every record...falsified, every book rewritten...every statue...has been renamed or torn down, every date...altered...the process is continuing...minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Ideology is always right.
