I haven't had my tongue piercing in for about five years now. I took my nose piercing out almost 10 years ago and other various studs I put in my body.
I have NO tattoos what so ever! My first husband was a tattoo artist and I was never even tempted! I love my skin and like the way it looks without feeling the need to add on to it. :)
So THERE! ;P

In regards to your accepting Christ, you will never be able to understand or accept anything in regards to that until oyu receive an answer to prayer. Whenever you hear anything in regards to the Holy Ghost, understand that that member of the Godheads job is to help you in regards to understanding deity.
I wont preach at you in this thread, but if you want to know more just PM me.

Way to go not gettign any tattoos. Im the only one of my siblings (6 of us) who never got a tattoo. My brother has a tattoo across his back that is huge, its a circle and it must be 14 inches across. My other brother has two betty pages on his legs, ones an angel and ones a devil. Naturally they're topless, so my Dad loves when he comes over in shorts. Everytime one of them gets a new one my Dad just does this twitch thing, it pisses him of so bad.

That's funny! :D
My first husband had LOTS of tattoos, he had sleeves and was working on being covered fully the last time I saw him. I just don't see the draw? I went to lots of tattoo conventions and saw some really beautiful work. I especially appreciate the Asian inspired work but just never felt the need to do something so permanent.

Ditto....I don't like tattoos periods.....even those lower back tattoos that drive some dudes wild do nothing for me.....

Hey, Book of Mormon!
I just caught up on your thread. Dang, I wish we were neighbors or something. We would have a blast! LOL
I'm a California transplant trying to fit in here in North Carolina. Talk about trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. ;)
We've lived here since '93 and I still feel like an outsider, so I know what you're going through.
The truly close friends I have I could count on one hand. I'm grateful for them, though! Ironically, none of them are Church members. LOL
Part of my problem is that I really don't have time to socialize. When I'm not working, I'm spending time with my husband and kids.
I'm imagining that with you, things will get a little easier when Fall happens, and you're teaching again?
Still...if you lived closer to me, we would have a standing lunch date!
:)

Who needs friends when you have the Internet? We are your friends now, barrelomonkeys.
I'm so upset that we're here and he's left me to fend on my own! I am so pissed off at him! He darts in and out and expects me to be pleased to see him for the few moments he has.
And he's absolutely right. If you miss him so badly and have begged him to come home, why on earth wouldn't you be pleased to see him for the few moments he has?
For example, let's say I can only eat sushi for a few moments. Do you think I'm going to get pissed off, or do you think I'm going to be happy as a clam to eat it for the few moments I have? (Hint: It'll definitely be the latter.)
I don't want him to touch me. I don't want him even near me now.
I don't get it, barrelomonkeys. Just a little earlier you were talking about how badly you miss your husband and need him to be home, but now you don't want him to touch you or even be near you now? If I missed my wife and needed her to be home, etc., you'd better believe I'd want her to touch me. You'd better believe I'd want her to be near me now.
Not to be sexist or anything, but this thread is yet another example of why I'll NEVER understand women.
I go to Church with them and play the part but I'm not a Christian and can't be true to myself and lie to them when they ask me if I've accepted Christ.
WTF?? What in the Sam Hell---?? If you're not a Christian, why for the love of God would you go to a Christian church???
Barrelomonkeys, you know I love you, but are we living on the same planet?
"Finally, for your rather strange idea that miracles are somehow linked to the amount of gay sexual gratification that is taking place would require that primitive Christianity was launched by gay sex, would it not?"
