The one thing that worries me about electing Obama is that Congress may also have a supermajority of Democrats and then there will be almost no checks against a Democratic agenda. Yes, I'd have the same worry with Republicans and their agenda.

Obama ran a cleaner campaign. I used to really like John McCain, but his fear mongering tactics (e.g. pretending that Bill Ayers is an issue) have really turned me off.

Me too. I supported McCain throughout most of the primary, but by the early weeks of the general election I was pretty disillusioned with this man that I had thought was a person of integrity and sober moderation.

You indeed thought right. U.S. Senator John McCain is indeed a man of integrity and sober moderation. I am very glad and happy, that I am supporting him, and that I get to vote for him For U.S. President.

If this was done by Obama partisans, it's very troubling

Twenty-five residents of a Gainesville neighborhood woke up this morning to discover their homes had been spray-painted with an obscene comment about the 2008 presidential race. Several businesses were hit as well.

“This is clear voter intimidation,” Corey A. Stewart, At-Large Chairman of the Prince William Board of County Supervisors, said. “The residents targeted by these hoodlums all had McCain for President yard signs in their front yards.”

“Having your home defaced with obscenity because of political beliefs is a hate crime” Stewart said, “This is terrorizing the community.”

“Voter intimidation will not be tolerated in Prince William County. The residents notified the police. I am asking our Commonwealth’s Attorney to investigate. I will seek state and federal investigations as well. Prince William County must be safe for freedom of speech. If we can catch the reprobate who did this, we’ll prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law.”

Stewart added: “We’ve had ACORN and other nuts kicking around down here in Prince William for weeks. I suppose this was bound to happen eventually. But we won’t stand for it.”

I agree with you about Hannity but you are an idiot about O'Reilly. You ever watch his show? He is fairly balanced and neutral and gives equal time to opposing views. His interview with Obama was fair and he actually spoke anr wrote favorably about Obama afterwards. I have found people who do not really listen to O'Reilly get him wrong and are typically echoing something from some left wing source.
