Not really. It's generally recognized that apostasy is rebellion against and that's what all LDS democrats have done with respect to the Church. All one needs to do is go down the list of what Democrats support that the LDS Church is opposed to and my point is proved.

I left the gay marriage issue blank. Just couldn't bring myself to attend to either.

The fact that the constitution will now say one man/woman may give hope to all those remarried Mormons that haven't been able to get their temple marriages annulled from their previous spouses. The church loses power either way.
