So, do you feel this outraged every time your ‘non-mainstream’ media sources are shown to be outright fabricating stories, and if so, why is it that you can never muster a commensurate outrage toward them?

Show me an example. Hannity has given you nearly 10 examples of the mainstream media getting it wrong over the years.
We've given you literally dozens, but you ignore them.
Speaking at the Take Back America conference on June 3, American Progress CEO John Podesta said, “I think when you get so distant from the facts as — as guys like Limbaugh and Sean Hannity do, yeah, I think that tends to — it kind of — it tends to corrupt the dialogue.” Apparently he struck a nerve with Fox News’ Sean Hannity. Hannity challenged Podesta to “defend and explain one example where I — where I said something that was so false.” Since choosing just one of Hannity’s distortions is too difficult, here are fifteen examples:

All Hannity quotes from Hannity and Colmes unless otherwise noted.

Hannity Mocked For Admitting He Doesn’t Fact Check Anything He Says on His Show

Fox Settled a Lawsuit Over Its Lies.
On Oct. 12, 2020, Fox News agreed to pay millions of dollars to the family of a murdered Democratic National Committee staff member, implicitly acknowledging what saner minds knew long ago: that the network had repeatedly hyped a false claim that the young staff member, Seth Rich, was involved in leaking D.N.C. emails during the 2016 presidential campaign. (Russian intelligence officers, in fact, had hacked and leaked the emails.)

Fox’s decision to settle with the Rich family came just before its marquee hosts, Lou Dobbs and Sean Hannity, were set to be questioned under oath in the case, a potentially embarrassing moment. And Fox paid so much that the network didn’t have to apologize for the May 2017 story on FoxNews.com.

But there was one curious provision that Fox insisted on: The settlement had to be kept secret for a month — until after the Nov. 3 election. The exhausted plaintiffs agreed...

The man who mailed pipe bombs to CNN in 2018 watched Fox News “religiously,” according to his lawyers’ sentencing memorandum, and believed Mr. Hannity’s claim that Democrats were “encouraging mob violence” against people like him.

Hannity's 11 false claims on Politifact: https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/l ... an-hannity

Let's start with the pants on fire: "The president said he’s going to bring in 250,000 (Syrian and Iraqi) refugees into this country."

"If you look pre-COVID" under President Donald Trump, "we didn't import a single barrel of oil from Saudi Arabia.”

“NOT A JOKE: Ilhan Omar Tells Residents ‘You Don’t Have to be Registered to Vote’ in Minnesota.”

"The Trump administration has had “zero unfulfilled equipment and supply requests from state governors.”

Says 642,000 crimes were committed against Texans by criminal immigrants in a recent seven-year period.

The United States Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit is "the most overturned court in the country."

"All of Texas is conservative, except a little bit of Austin."

In 2007, when Nancy Pelosi met with President Assad of Syria, "nobody got upset."

"In July 2010 the government said small businesses -- 60 percent -- will lose their health care, 45 percent of big business and a large percentage of individual health."

Under President Barack Obama, "8.3 (million) fewer Americans are working today than there were four years ago."

Under the "Cash for Clunkers" program, "all we've got to do is ... go to a local junkyard, all you've got to do is tow it to your house. And you're going to get $4,500."

Fox News spent a week fear-mongering about riots following Rittenhouse verdict. Protests were mostly peaceful.

Oh, and remember those "caravans" that FOX had half the country terrified over? Whatever became of that "invasion"?

You’ve been given literally hundreds of examples just over the last few years. You literally have a god-like oracle at your fingertips that you refuse to use. So, I guess we can surmise you don’t mind a media outlet lying to you as long as it falls within your ideological wheelhouse. Here’s some more spam since you like acting like an asshole:
The mysterious case of Rosemarie Hartle's vote in the last presidential election, three years after her death, was trumpeted in November 2020 by the Nevada Republican Party and various prominent conservatives. From then-President Donald Trump on down, Republicans used stories about phony votes cast under the names of dead people as key evidence for their claim that Joe Biden's victory was marred by major fraud.

The Hartle mystery is now solved. And it turns out that the fraud was committed by a Republican.
Hartle was married to Las Vegas businessman Donald Kirk Hartle, a registered Republican. In November 2020, Hartle told Las Vegas television station 8 News Now (KLAS-TV) that he felt "disbelief" when he found out that a mail-in ballot was submitted in his late wife's name. It was "pretty sickening," he said at the time, adding that he didn't know how it could've happened.

But Hartle had actually cast the phony ballot himself.
Anyway. In an attempt to be fair and balanced here are a bunch of hate crime hoaxes perpetrated by people on the Left:

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opin ... ate-crimes

Let’s see if Ajax will demonstrate some balance and post a link to a hate crime hoax perpetrated by someone on the Right.

Your washington examiner link makes claims of fake hate crimes but in every example, there is no names provided for readers wanting to verify their accuracy. Weird.

A little bit of Googling susses out the facts. with regard to the ‘former student at North Park University in Chicago was likewise caught fabricating a story about receiving threatening, slur-riddled notes mentioning then-President-elect Donald Trump.’:

http://www.theglobaldispatch.com/taylor ... ity-88309/
Taylor Volk is the bisexual student who claimed she received homophobic slurs via mail with the hashtag #Trump, but now confesses it was a lie.

Volk claimed to have received a string of anonymous emails which also contained abusive language, adding that the abuse was part of a “country wide epidemic emboldened by this election.”
If you look at her Twitter, everything between 2015 and August 2020, and beyond is deleted. Lol.

I wonder what's worse, a dozen or so faked hate crimes or the hundreds of actual hate crimes.

What about pushing a bananapants godzilla-lie like:
Fox News, right-wing websites and Republican lawmakers are promoting a new false flag conspiracy that the FBI orchestrated the deadly assault on the US Capitol.

The haywire theory originated from an article published Monday by Revolver News, a right-wing website. From there, it was picked up by Fox News host Tucker Carlson, who used his opening segment on Tuesday night to slam the FBI, saying it played a role in the January 6 attack.

Several Republican lawmakers quickly piled on. They entered the article into the congressional record, tweeted about the Fox News segment, condemned the FBI agents who supposedly "organized and participated" in the Capitol attack, and demanded answers from the FBI director.
So, spare the damned crocodile tears and handwringing, Ajax, when you pretend to care about accuracy in reporting.

Here the liberal media basically admits that they're not really journalist as much as they are left wing activists.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics ... K4jC?pfr=1

Fox News and Breitbart don't purport to be objective media. CNN does and yet they've been caught numerous times, whether it was James O'Keefe uncovering Brian Stelter pushing them to attack Lindsey Graham, Trayvon Martin, Freddie Gray, Michael Brown, Duke LaCrosse, Jacob Blake, Nicholas Sandman, or misquotes about President Trump saying he hates America soldiers. Time and time again the activists in the media stir up hatred of the right based on false allegations often times not even followed by a retraction until they're exposed so badly. What's funny is K Graham thinks that reporting on stories that turn out to be false is good journalism. How people can trust his words with such a prejudiced set of beliefs is beyond partisan. It's irrational and akin to drinking the Kool-Aid.
And when the Confederates saw Jackson standing fearless like a stonewall, the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.
