You are eminently reasonable and making a great request, and AM refuses to do so, and continues the trolling for page after page. Sometimes when a message board gets cancer, it is best to operate and cut it out, get rid of it. THIS Shades HAS to realize and perform an operation. AM simply will not change. And it is ruining the boards. There is no reasoning with him. We can be nice as he wishes and he will not stop disrupting and bringing in all kinds of idiotic comments that disagree with his views. I, once again, say KICK HIM OFF THE BOARD. HE, IN HIS CURRENT ATTITUDE IS NO LONGER WELCOME SINCE HE HADS NO DESIRE TO PARTICIPATE And he will suck one at a time into his orbit feigning ability to discuss, and take hundreds of pages no saying anything valuable or being a friend or contributing anything of any value. He has done this for months now. It's time to operate and cut out the cancer. Sometimes that's the only way to save life. SURGERY I vote for in AM's case.

There simply have to be boundaries to community, and I have no problem if members of my community agree with me in identifying those opinions, views, and affiliations as being beyond the pale.

I do welcome the participation of decent, honest, and reasonable people of good will who have religious and political opinions that differ from my own. They may love William F. Buckley. Maybe they slept with William F. Buckley. I don't care.

Free speech shouldn't be allowed to be invoked here as a cover for an intent to destroy. Why can't you mods do something about this? Atlanticmike and Binger are exercising their "free speech" by destroying a community. Why can't they be limited to only starting threads in S. Prison or Telestial? Shades explained quite clearly what ldsfaqs did to warrant such a limitation, and these two have far exceeded that. Why can't Shades' words to ldsfaqs be used to guide moderation now?
