Huck, I respect most of your takes and you along with Dr Steuss often challenge my thoughts, but come on. The guy had no idea what was going on. I saw it, the right saw it in 2020. Now all of a sudden the books are coming out, and folks are now being truthful in what was going on. This again is not going to get better.
Old people get older, Markk. Eventually, they even die. This should not be surprising to you.
Lol, yes we do, and as we get old people have take care of us more and more and make decisions for us. Things like paying our bills, driving, opening hard plastic wrappings, remembering our address, and other minor day day challenges like running the United States and the the free world, and managing our family members that carry a device with codes that can destroy the world a few times over.
It is perfectly acceptable for those that take care of us lie to the the folks that put their trust and hopes into us and tell us we have never been more coherent and are as sharp as a tac. And it is okay for those that take care of us to make life decisions and sign our name on documents as if it were us making these tough life decisions. And when we are out with our grand kids play in the yard with them, it is perfectly fine for our care takers to dress up like the easter bunny to direct us and watch over us to make sure we do not say something silly or incorrect to our neighbors that might embarrass ourselves or our family.
It is also fine and acceptable that when we send out our holiday videos to our friends and family that our care givers give us cue cards to read a message of cheer to them. Generally when our care givers do this they use several cameras so they can edit the final video in order to help our extended family and friends see a crisp, youthful version of ourself, and not one of us wondering around aimlessly.
Then after all this, and it becomes more than evident to our loved ones that we have not been that spry, energetic us, that they just through us in a home and write books about us of how messed up we really were and how shocking it was for those that did know but could not say so....yes cakes, you are correct, old people do get older and yes die. I am glad you figured this out in these past few weeks.
I will leave you with this, it is also really cool as we loose our faculties, and we have a better than expected moment, our spouse gives us encouragements like this great example....
