This is the problem. Satire can no longer be more ludicrous and improbable than what the Administration itself says and publishes.

MAGA has ruined comedy, because just when you think you’re reading The Onion, it turns out to be a post from the official White House social media staff.

And MAGA itself has no idea how everyone else views them, and if they do, they dismiss it as "deranged" (because that's what they've been told to do, and thinking for themselves is a foreign concept). They think they're awesome (or something - it's hard to imagine them actually thinking at all), while people who remember saner years look at them with a mixture of amusement and disgust. MAGAtes don't even know they should be embarrassed, which blows me away. Just how daft are these people?

It's like Mormons thinking they're chosen people while everyone else who understands the religion looks at them like lunatics. In fact, it's exactly the same.
