Don't talk back to your fathers or husbands. Don't look any man straight in the eyes, or he may think you're being too forward. Don't engage in any kind of behavior that may be seen as flirtatious, or it may provoke sexual aggression. Don't go unescorted to places where men gather. Don't wear short skirts or halter tops.
Because, as you say, "If you do, I will have no sympathy for you if you get mauled or killed. I'm not judging anyone's morality with this statement. Merely commenting on the rather obvious consequences of ignoring physical cause and effect."
Don't jump into a cage with a Grizzly bear. You are free to ignore that too. But there are potentially grievous consequences. Don't expect me to care about it if you get mauled or killed when you could have easily avoided it by choosing wisely.
It is good to understand risk/reward cost/benefit considerations while navigating life.

Why is the government employing grizzly bears? I know border patrol and ice are regularly considered the law enforcement divisions for those that can’t be real cops and get into police academy, but surely with the money being thrown around these days the market would attract something better than a mindless animal.

No it isn't. The central topic is whether US citizens should allow their fundamental rights to be trampled on by a group of undertrained and over-violent armed men who seem to think that they can drop all restraint on the amount of violence, including lethal violence, that they inflict on anybody they find it irritating to share the street with, or that they think is a "F****** bitch'.
The rights that US citizens (ought to) enjoy were won by people who were prepared to lay down their lives to obtain them. But now it is suggested that these rights should be given up in order to obtain a safe and quiet existence (until ICE comes to get you, that is.) Well, that way you wouldn't have had the Boston Massacre. But if Americans had gone that way in the past, the America of today would have been a very different place, wouldn't it?
