Re: Biden needs to step aside

Post by Kishkumen »

I used to get upset when politicians did not answer the questions posed by tv “journalists.” Now, I think everyone should just ignore these questions and say whatever they want. If, at the end of the day, these “journalists” are just saying the crap their billionaire bosses and shareholders want, then their questions are of no interest to me. Eff’em.

Say what you want, candidates. Just stop when the light or buzzer is triggered. Then the next person gets to blab whatever they want. But let’s no longer pretend that the journos are not essentially the hand puppets of their corporate masters. They are. And I don’t want to hear from them anymore.

On the other hand, you are correct that it just fodder for predicting what something may look like which is a hypothetical that can't be disproven which is a theory and a conspiracy all in one.
Conspiracy? What conspiracy? There is no conspiracy. Project 2025 is a publicly published document. The opposition to it is publicly discussed. Where is the conspiracy?
The conspiracy is that Project 2025 is Trump's plan to reinstate smoking in airplanes, which is true. And that Project 2025 includes draining Lake Powell.

What do I have to do to agree with this perfectly, emphatically and permanently?

HOLY Adjective Noun. Did this really just happen? Kish is correct.

Oh my dear verbing deity.

https://x.com/CitizenFreePres/status/18 ... 7379907621

NOW COMES Chris Mathews vomitting all the populist talking points - about Biden. Did not have Biden is a populist black Jesus on my BINGO card. All y'all with Biden is a populist, be sure to mark that box on your cards.

Though, the condescension of this is going to backfire. Biden better pick his lane soon. If it comes down to being a so-called populist in the media and taking granted votes from minorities because they owe this to the bosses at the DNC, he is going to lose a lot of votes in that process. Biden is about to pretend to hate the elites while asking the elites, wink wink nod nod, to just roll with it for now.

Maybe the journalists I am used to come out of a different box? But although I do sometimes sympathise with a politician who does not bother answering a clearly stupid or malevolent question, I find myself more often watching or listening to encounters where a journalist is asking a probing but perfectly legitimate question that I would like to have answered, and the politician is trying to avoid having to answer it.

That happens occasionally. Not so much with pre-approved questions and pre-approved questioners.

The un-asked questions are where the entire journalism profession conceded ground to X. Find me someone you respect that asked in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and in the first five months of 2024 if Biden was gorked. He was gorked, but who asked about it?

Chap - Long time no type. Hope all is well.

I didn't say what you have me quoted saying.

While I do agree with the quote, I wouldn't want to take the credit away from the actual author, Kish.

His secret is that he does not like Trump. Really doesn't like Trump! Once you have that going for you, you can say almost anything without being labeled. It's the free pass for everything forever.
