Bach was restricted/queued more for the volume of personal attacks that he perpetrated than any other reason (not that there weren’t others). That volume from him honestly pales in comparison to what we’ve seen as of late on the board by particular members.

A barrage of personal attacks can be interpreted as a form of UR 8 violation, but I’m not sure that’s even the point. For anyone who has ever been queued or ‘kingdom restricted’ in some way, their behavior has not necessarily been a tidy and explicit violation of a particular rule. Many of those cases represented the first of their kind, which means that there was no precedent. Waiting for a precedent as a reason to enact a particular solution cannot always work because something must always become the future precedent at a moment when none exists … yet action is still warranted at that moment.

Reviewing old cases via mod threads, I’m not finding anything yet that was previously acted on that was more severe than what has happened as of late, with one possible exception (at least my own opinion is that there is one exception).

It's becoming difficult to use this thread as it was intended when you have to wade through binger's mindless derailments. Could we get back to the Q &A? Maybe move his nonsense into the split already started with his other personal attacks and derailments? I can see canpakes is trying to reel him back in to the topic but it's hopeless once he starts ranting. This is an important thread. Please.

Some of those questions make for good subject matter with regard to moderation activities. It’s just that in my opinion he tries to constrain the scope of discussion within too narrow or contrived a range to be useful for honest examination of what’s really going on.

Good point and I agree. He's okay at briefly keeping up the bare bones appearance of a legitimate comment while obviously having only the intent to disrupt. However, his last two posts were just name-calling and baseless accusations, so it's clear we have once again passed the "good question" phase of his participation.

Why don’t you guys just create a ‘bingbong bin’ where all his trash posts can be deposited? This way he isn’t censored, gets to spam out his trash, and you just move it to a stickied thread? He’s currently averaging 40’ish trash tier craps a day here, so just move them to a toilet bowl.

I was "inspired" by listening to the Canadian Senate Question Time. I like the concept. I like the idea of Biden having to appear before the House and Senate and answer questions, even though it would involve a ton of grandstanding by Congresscritters.
