I just have to say, if he had been successful at disarming KR, he'd be called a hero for stopping an active shooter, just like anyone else has been when they've done the same.Doctor CamNC4Me wrote: ↑Wed Nov 17, 2021 2:28 pmThe bottom line is if we can’t hold Rosenbaum’s prior life, choices, and statements against him we’re forced to do the same with KR. If an adult male chose to aggressively rush, threaten, reach for, or whatever to or at KR then we’re now in the moment.
But he failed and got killed. Therefore, idiot. I guess any civilian who tries to stop a deadly situation is an idiot.

How many rounds did KR fire off before Rosenbaum attempted to “disarm” him? Some Schmo wrote: ↑Wed Nov 17, 2021 8:50 pmI just have to say, if he had been successful at disarming KR, he'd be called a hero for stopping an active shooter, just like anyone else has been when they've done the same.Doctor CamNC4Me wrote: ↑Wed Nov 17, 2021 2:28 pmThe bottom line is if we can’t hold Rosenbaum’s prior life, choices, and statements against him we’re forced to do the same with KR. I’m surprised that no-one has yet made a joke about Rittenhouse attempting to “disarm” Grosskreutz.

Are you suggesting he'd have been less of an idiot if he'd tried after Rittenhouse started shooting?Doctor CamNC4Me wrote: ↑Wed Nov 17, 2021 8:56 pmHow many rounds did KR fire off before Rosenbaum attempted to “disarm” him?
Clearly, he had reason to think the douche was a threat.

Well, an active shooter implies KR was an active shooter. The only people he shot was from a defensive posture. Some Schmo wrote: ↑Wed Nov 17, 2021 9:22 pmAre you suggesting he'd have been less of an idiot if he'd tried after Rittenhouse started shooting?Doctor CamNC4Me wrote: ↑Wed Nov 17, 2021 8:56 pmHow many rounds did KR fire off before Rosenbaum attempted to “disarm” him?

The point I was trying to make is that if the attempt to subdue was successful, Rosenbaum wouldn't be called an idiot.Doctor CamNC4Me wrote: ↑Wed Nov 17, 2021 9:31 pmWell, an active shooter implies KR was an active shooter. The only people he shot was from a defensive posture.

Re: Rittenhouse Trial: Calling Res Ipsa
Well, that’s the whole problem, right? As soon as Rittenhouse aims the gun at someone, given the widespread notion of don’t aim at anything unless you intend to kill it, everyone around him likely has the legal ability to use force, including deadly force against him. If an unarmed guy chasing someone justifies use of deadly force, then it shouldn’t take much to justify use of deadly force against someone armed with a weapon designed to kill quickly and efficiently.Doctor CamNC4Me wrote: ↑Wed Nov 17, 2021 8:56 pmHow many rounds did Kyle Rittenhouse fire off before Rosenbaum attempted to “disarm” him? Some Schmo wrote: ↑Wed Nov 17, 2021 8:50 pm

Re: Rittenhouse Trial: Calling Res Ipsa
If Rosenbaum had ‘disarmed’ KR he would’ve just been a dude who attacked a kid and stole his rifle. I don’t the notion of heroism would’ve come into play because KR wasn’t an active shooter. I suspect it just would’ve been viewed as a chaotic scene that wouldn’t have garnered much attention at all. Some Schmo wrote: ↑Wed Nov 17, 2021 9:46 pmThe point I was trying to make is that if the attempt to subdue was successful, Rosenbaum wouldn't be called an idiot.Doctor CamNC4Me wrote: ↑Wed Nov 17, 2021 9:31 pmWell, an active shooter implies KR was an active shooter.
