Okay, top 6 sci fi (not in any particular order and NOT according to decade...heck I can't remember!!)

1) Aliens. (seen it at least 90 times in singledom...no time now... brilliant film and the continuity is breath-taking, particularly at the beginning)
2) Predator.
3) Star Wars. (that was the 70's. I remember because I was 14 and just sat there at the cinema with my jaw on my lap as one of the battlestars flew over)
4) Jason and the Argonauts (okay may not be sci-fi, but the special effects under Ray Harryhousen were ground breaking) That's the 60's covered.
5) The Philadelphia Experiment. Don't know what it was, but something about that film had me watching again and again.
6) The Day after Tomorrow. (2004) Jake was great and the storyline was great.

Terminator 3 was also very good, Kubrick's 2001 a Space Oddysey, Total Recall, oooooh and and CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND was GREAT ...(I could go on and on...so I'll stop there!)

Coggins actually mentioned it earlier in the thread as his favorite 80's sci-fi film. That may have put the thought in your mind, rather than the holy ghost. ;)

Maybe Coggins is the Holy Ghost ;)

You've blown my cover Bond. I'll have to speak to Ernst about our present security arraignments.
