Ray,

Someday members of your family will view those journals as more valuable than Gold. If you feel you have changed since you wrote them, that is ok, just start a new journal and discuss in it how you fell you have changed. Include your photos on the pages, those are always gems to come across when looking through journals.

it would be a huge loss for future generations to lose your journals. Your family would be devastated.

Thanks Gaz. Maybe someday in the future when I have lots of time, and more inclination, on my hands I'll go through them again. I imagine this will be in some retirement, or semi-retirement, IF that ever occurs. It does occur to me that in spite of how I feel, this could indeed be very valuable to my children or grandchildren in the future, as it will give them vast insights into their now deceased mother, things which they would never have known, and of course they were all positive as the journals were written long before divorce. The comments have been very helpful.

Looks like I'm being outnumbered. Perhaps I should trust female intuition here.

You should always trust female intuition.

Note my bold portion. The only intuition is really trust is - my own. I can make exceptions.

Nephi, what state do you live in? I've been doing temp work for a year now (not really due to choice, my last temp agency exploited me), and was always on long term contracts. What type of work are you looking for? If you like, I can help you in the search. Looking for work sucks, I can totally relate. I'm in between jobs myself with the health issues. Got a call yesterday that sounds lucrative, hope it comes through.

What would you like to be doing for work?
