You shouldn't take this at face value, but let's assume that it was just Trump's campaign colluding with Russian espionage against our election process without Donald Trump's direct knowledge. That, in of itself, is scandalous on a level that is difficult to take in. It is an indictment on the President's ability to surround himself with adequate people to a degree that makes him unfit to be in office.
The President didn't know he was surrounding himself with traitors. He just thought Paul Manafort wanted to do him a favor. All that other stuff is coincidental.
Sure, that sounds like someone I want in charge of the most important personnel decisions in the country.
Does he realise he is saying Trump must have been as dumb as a rock if he didn't know what was going on?
Donald Trump’s personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani, has insisted that he “never said there was no collusion” between Trump’s 2016 presidential election campaign and Russia – only that Trump himself was not involved.
The former New York mayor said he did not know if others involved in the campaign had worked with Russia.
“I never said there was no collusion between the campaign, or between people in the campaign,” Giuliani said on CNN on Wednesday night.
“I said the president of the United States,” he added.

Funny how that happens with everyone who chooses to associate with Mr. Trump.

People were impressed with Trump way back when. They've both lost the ability to BS. Both embarrassing the crap out of themselves.
Always go out on top, I say, and when you do--never return.
ETA: Christie has apparently written a scathing criticism of the current Admin. in his new memoir. That Jersey Boy is saving his own ass by distancing himself from Trump and he'll probably succeed. He's got more street smarts than Trump and Giuliani put together and not only that, he can think on his feet.
They fail miserably at both and history will not be kind to them.
Failure is not falling down but refusing to get up.

This little detail has Trump's fingerprints all over it.
During the presidential race, Mr. Cohen also asked Mr. Gauger to create a Twitter account called @WomenForCohen. The account, created in May 2016 and run by a female friend of Mr. Gauger, described Mr. Cohen as a “sex symbol,” praised his looks and character, and promoted his appearances and statements boosting Mr. Trump’s candidacy.
Cohen was totally influenced by Trump. He was Trump's mini-me.
