I'm fully vaccinated like my wife and kids, so no blood on these hands here. We didn't get COVID, and we tested three times (before, during and after) but upon our return we discover that my unvaxxed brother and his wife got COVID for the second time since July (so much for natural immunity). My parents who've had only one shot went over to my brother's house for a big Christmas gathering with my sister and her kids. Before New Years everyone was feeling sick. My Mother is 70, and she told me she thought she was going to die because it was the worst she's ever felt. She started to feel better for a couple of days but then it hit her again and she still hasn't left the house. She didn't test for COVID but assumed she got it because everyone else did. Her husband thinks she has the regular flu

Yes, we already know vaccinated people can spread Omicron you moron. But you can't spread something unless you catch it first. No one in my immediate family has ever tested positive, and we test regularly. My wife gets tested every other week when she goes to the doctor. And incidentally, her scheduled bone marrow biopsy was postponed today because, (drum roll) COVID is overwhelming the hospital.

With record growth in wage income, and the bulk of inflation coming from the cost of used cars and other items most poor aren't buying anyway, the result is that it breaks even for many Americans and the majority come out ahead. We're the only country in the world where the economy is doing better now that it was BEFORE the pandemic. Crude production is on the rise and gas prices are actually coming down.
