Hypothetically speaking, what do find to be more disturbing: Psychopathic plans to weaponize the DOJ or the psychopathic weaponization of the DOJ?
What psychopathic weaponization of the DOJ are you talking about?
Of the total amount of people who will likely vote for the Republican ticket in 2024 (74 million?), how many of them do you believe are idiots?
All the ones who aren't knowingly being assholes with that vote (or insane). As I've said before, there are 4 reasons to vote Trump:

- ignorance
- stupidity
- insanity
- belligerence

So you can divide up GOP voters into those four groups. I'm sure there is overlap among the four.

I’m also wondering why Republicans getting on about ‘weaponization’ of federal agencies don’t include the Benghazi hearings - and all of Jim Jordan’s recent committees - in their calculus. ; )
Because for Republicans, it's only bad if others commit crimes. If you criticize a Republican for the same thing, you're accused of "living in the past and unable to let go" (which is essentially what DeSantis said about Jan 6).

We all know hypocrisy is the GOP brand.

Wait. What about revenge as a voting reason?

Trump did state a few weeks ago that he was his Base’s ‘retribution’:

"In 2016, I declared, 'I am your voice.' Today I add: I am your warrior, I am your justice, and for those who have been wronged and betrayed, I am your retribution!"

Wronged and betrayed. About what, I’m not sure, but maybe someone can fill that part in.

Revenge falls under the belligerence category. It should perhaps be above insanity on the list, but assessing the real percentages is hard because of the overlap I mentioned.

Do you know what hypothetical means? I wasn't talking about anything factual. I was trying to get a glimpse into how you think? Do you have an answer to the hypothetical question?

You think all 74 million of them are stupid - or ignorant - or insane - or belligerent. Cool.

Let's do Biden voters now:

Hom many of the Biden voters are stupid? Ignorant? Insane? Belligerent?

Well, then, given your posting history, I'll just assume from now on everything you talk about is "hypothetical."

LOL - why are you asking me if you were "trying to get a glimpse into how (I) think?"

I bet you thought that was clever.

To answer your "hypothetical" question, I don't see much of a difference between the two. Both represent malicious intent.

Less than 100%.

That's unfortunate and very telling as it relates to how you think they both merely represent intent (Trying to get a glimpse into how you think was the very reason for my question. I got my glimpse.)

Silly Ceeboo. There are no Biden voters. Per some authoritative sources that I cannot divulge (see: OANN, Fox, NewsMax, Trump, Patel, Marjorie Taylor-Greene, Boebert, D’Souza, Cruz, Hawley, Lake, Levin, Walsh, Carlson, the Enlows, the J6 insurrectionists, dozens of Republican legislators, many Republican internet sources, most Truth Social users, and all Trump voters on Twitter*), we know that all of those ‘Biden votes’ were tabulated off of illegitimate, forged bamboo ballots from China.

*apologies to the other 74 million folks not listed

This isn't like the difference between plans to murder and carrying out a murder. We're talking about people in power who will act on whatever impulses they have. If the GOP plans to weaponize the DOJ if they take back the White House, it will happen.

If your hypothetical question was "what's worse, plans to weaponize the DOJ that never happen or the actual weaponization of the DOJ," then yes, actual weaponization is worse. That's why one would need to be either ignorant, stupid, insane, an asshole or some combination of those to vote Republican.

Bold mine.

You were doing so good until the bolded part. Man! You really had my attention when you started down the path of "people in power who will act on whatever impulses they have" - then, you had to be politically loyal. Damn!

Since I know how much you like hypotheticals, let's do another one.

Hypothetically speaking, let's say that there has been an ongoing weaponization (and politicization) on the DOJ (and other very powerful governmental agencies) for a long time. Let's say that the current DOJ has been weaponized. Hypothetically, does that mean that you and the other 80 million people who voted Democrat are either ignorant, stupid, insane, an asshole or some combination of those?
