Right Wing heads are exploding all over the country right now. They've spent weeks claiming the coronavirus was a Democrat hoax, insisting it was just a mild flu that was overblown by a Liberal media hellbent on destroying Trump's precious economy. And now Trump bans all travel from Europe for 30 days. I wonder when they'll start accusing Trump of being part of the Deepstate intent on destroying his own Presidency.

Does that mean that US citizens traveling IN Europe are grounded there for a month? I know he made a statement I just haven't listened to it or read it yet. Taking the lazy way and asking you.

Doubtful. The ban on entry by aliens that was posted applies to persons within the designated area within the last 14 days, regardless of where they traveled to the US from.

I'm a Tour Guide in San Francisco, working for the largest tour operator in the city. Today they laid of 65% of the guides. I have seniority, so I'm part of the 35% that continues to work. I was given to chance to take a temporary layoff, but I decided that I didn't want to let go of my seniority.

How bad is business? On a summer day, we can sell nearly 4,000 tickets. Off season we're usually doing 1800-2000 people a day.

Yesterday we sold 300.

I don't think I can overstate the situation for people in tourism and travel. Fisherman's Wharf is like a ghost town. Tourism is the number one industry in San Francisco. You go to work, and there are maybe 30% fewer commuters on the trains.

They say this will continue for another 8 weeks at least.

This country (and most of the world) are in for some very tough times in the next few months.

And our school district just announced it is closing for a month. No reported cases.
