Interesting. Brady had a first season (or postseason?) sack early on and an interception on his very first pass, but he's smart and mentally stable so no surprise in the end. Edelman definitely deserved MVP, that guy is all heart. Although why the rams got called repeatedly on illegal hands in the face while a patriot was allowed to take down a ram by unscrewing his helmeted head from his body I'll never know.

There were a few bad calls, but it was two great defensive game plans, executed well. So many receivers were covered text book on both ends...did anyone but Edelman or Gronk catch a pass for NE? I know Hogan was bottled up all night. I don't recall him or Dorsett catching anything? Patterson caught a few out of the backfield.
Cooks could have had two TD's...so we had our chances. I'm curious to find out if Gurley is hurt or not.

It was one of the McCourty twins that broke up his end zone catch, right? My husband follows them, they are from our Catholic school group. Both twins had a great game.

It must be painful for the liberal political class in the NFL to see it turn out like this again.
And when the confederates saw Jackson standing fearless as a stone wall the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

Yes I think so, he was actually late on the coverage, but unfortunately Goff was to, so he had time to recover and break it up. That was a huge missed opportunity for the Rams.

True. I would imagine that Mahomes who in my opinion throws like Jeter making a crazy double wouldn't have flubbed that!

Not at all. My wife and I are Patriots fans (me since 2003 and her since 2007). I have the weird ability to not mix politics and sports too much. For example, there are, I don't know if you noticed this or not, black people who play and coach for the Patriots? That must be intolerable for you, no?

I didn't expect you to think that Goodell showed Brady leniency on deflategate because of white privilege as Brandon Marshall voiced on a platform provided to him by ESPN. But I am surprised that wearing the MAGA hat didn't bother you. Remember that as a leftist you are free embraace diversity of race but not diversity of political opinion. MAGA hats are equal to swastikas. Wake up or I'll send you to a reeducation camp under the control of EAllusion.

Not really. I think most of the hate for the Patriots is simply because they are the current dynasty. It's the same reason the Steelers and Cowboys get so much hate, and the Yankees and Red Sox in baseball. As a football fan, I respect what the Pats have done over the past 17 seasons, but I still love to see them lose, and those photos don't bother me. Even though he's a Trump supporter, I like Tom Brady.
As a racist, does this photo of don't'a Hightower and his white girlfriend bother you?

The funniest (and probably most accurate) comment I have seen so far about the SB is that both teams played like they knew the winner would be invited to the White House.
