Hey honor, should we both delete all our posts in this thread? Christ, you go back and edit them so much after I respond you have manipulated the entire conversation. Want a do-over?

Hell no. I add afterward but the edits aren't changing the content . And this is important. You should let it sink in why self-identifying as a populist is extreme.
You keep lumping people into the populist label who don't identify as populist. You assign that to them just because they don't care about politics or politicians.
Populism isn't vast. It's growing but it's no different than actively going around declaring the people who are Zeus atheists are vast. Sure, most people don't believe in Zeus. But they aren't bothered enough to take an anti-Zeus stance.
You are wrong about the people. You are wrong to consider them extreme. You are wrong to dismiss them. But, you retain the right to be wrong. Keep on with it if you wish.
You are abusing what it means to self-identify as a populist. It is an oppositional negative identity. You believe most people hold a negative identity? How pessimistic of you.

I am not lumping anyone into anything. I have not identified a single person in this conversation, other than my response to Gad where I said that Trump was indeed the bogeyman he identified, but that he was a symptom not the cause. Oh, and McConnell and Romney and stuff.
We agree that populism is growing. I think that many populists care a LOT about politics, and that they are active in politics. I do not think that applies to all populists. I think that the appeal of populism is significantly higher than the individual declared affiliation (or even the individual understanding of the term).
I am a populist. I am not extreme. Your assertion to the contrary, is ridiculous. I walked again recently on picket lines with the local that represents sheet metal workers, air balance technicians, stationary engineers and others. Many of them are populists, they are not extreme. Some are loyal labor democrats. Some are dedicated republicans. Some hate both sides. They care uniquely about politics and politicians, they also care about their families and their welfare. I reject your disdain and judgments. I reject it outright for the harmful and deliberate bigotry and prejudice.

It is not just an oppositional negative identity. It is pro majority.
I think we are good with this... you are not going to change, and non-Mormons will never not be affiliated with the whore of all the earth, in your holocaust denying stance against facts. I get your point. You think that anyone that is not in your church/political group, has a negative oppositional identity. I do not agree. You carry on with your badass self.
You do realize that other governments have more than two parties, right? And other parties exist in America too, right?

You keep using "populist" in place of people. Very propagandist of you, but also wrong.
I am a populist. I am not extreme.
Yeah, I know you are identify as a populist. And you jump easily to this -
At this point, I have to think that you can't possibly be serious. You are just tripping balls and being a troll. Nicely played. There is no way anyone could be this radical and hateful. Unless, of course, you really want extreme take-a-side and take-a-sword politics until the blood runs thick in the streets.
You are an extremist when it comes to your political views. Give in or face the wrath of the masses behind me...

Pro majority what exactly? Pro people? That's just jargon. What's populism actually FOR?

I have no masses behind me. I am one cartoon on a board full of cartoons. There are no masses, whatsoever. Your imagination continues to run wild.
Again, you rip stuff out of context. I stand by what I said.
If you insist that the populists are extreme, merely for not pledging allegiance to YOUR affiliation and ideology, you will get a reaction. You mentioned riots being the natural evolution of the populists. Riots, in our past and recent history, have included death and bloodshed. You, honor, introduced that into the conversation. Own it.

Huh. I don't get your disagreement, as that's the single most common position I have read in any of your recent posts. Anyone not agreeing with you has been described by you over and over in really disgusting terms as having a "negative oppositional identity."
You do realize that other governments have more than two parties, right? And other parties exist in America too, right?
do you?
Is this why you delete your posts? You realize that you are complaining about the things YOU do?
I realized in the New Jersey thread you were not reliable or honest, now I see it extends across the board. Read your own posts, man. Your the worst offender.
