Not a good night for Trump. First, he loses the debate and looks stupid doing it. Then Taylor Swift makes public her support for Kamala.Jersey Girl wrote: ↑Wed Sep 11, 2024 4:23 amThere it is.

I'm not a Swiftie by any means. I mentioned in previous posts what an enormous influence Taylor Swift and Beyonce have. The timing of TS's endorsement was perfect!Dr. Sunstoned wrote: ↑Wed Sep 11, 2024 4:30 amNot a good night for Trump. First, he loses the debate and looks stupid doing it. I do like how Taylor signed off on the endorsement post as "childless cat lady".
I'm kind of going into meltdown mode as well as I watch what I thought to be another very winnable election going down the toilet and turning into another four years of the same old crap, and that's if I'm lucky. I'm afraid it's going to be much worse than that. But I think this election was lost before this debate. After a record like this, it should have never even been close. And even if Trump were to get into office, it's not like the deep state would allow him to enforce the border, nor would they be beneath unleashing a COVID lockdown to destroy the economy were they in danger of not getting their way at the ballot box. I can't believe Trump patted himself on the back for the vaccine. They threatened and battered him so bad as the sitting president that he actually still believes Fauci's line of BS. DeSantis got the COVID thing right, but I'd be equally foolish to think any other Republican could have won the election or avoided the weaponization of the DOJ if they were to really challenge the uniparty.Doctor CamNC4Me wrote: ↑Wed Sep 11, 2024 5:34 pmSpeaking of melting down, DJT stock is down 13%. I hear Venezuela is nice in November; perhaps Judge Chutkin ought to consider seizing Donald “they’re coming for your dogs” Dump’s passport before he makes good on his threat to flee the country?

Even though Putin has now endorsed Kamala Harris, I'm going to call on some wisdom from Russian philosophers who undoubtedly had to endure some of the same grief from 1917 onward,
If you don't have a leg, then your knee will never wear out. If you can't play tennis, you don't have to wonder why you missed a shot. If your neighbor votes to take away your paycheck, then there's no more reason to work all day. If you can't afford a house, then you don't have to buy insurance. If you can't afford to get married then you'll never get hosed in a family law court. If you don't have any rights, then you don't have to work, struggle, fight and die to keep them. Death really is the sweetest of all God's blessings (Especially for those who have hope of a glorious resurrection), but perhaps living off the grid during the apocalypse may not be as bad as I thought. Poor as one might be, old and weak, even enslaved, you still have your free agency and that's all that matters in eternity.
