Hey anyone want to fact check this? Who's lying? MSNBC or Trump? Also what is the impact of these claims on our country?

Having listened to Trump it seems he is getting wackier and more disoriented. I suspect he will increase his lead in the religious vote when he starts totally speaking in tongues - especially myna bird and giraffe, but throw in some tapir for his LDS constituency.

Sorry, that was ambiguous. I was referring to the thread last weekend about climate change predictions that happened to show up as Trump was denying climate change reality before Helene hit. Here's one report on it:

Thanks honor.
No problem.

For those curious Trump made climate change denial claims in a rally on September 26, ahead of the hurricane Helene landfall in Florida. The thread on climate predictions being wrong was posted the next day on our board.

That isn't claiming the OP intentionally amplified Trump's message of the day. Quite the contrary I wouldn't doubt the OP had no idea Trump said anything about climate change at the time. Instead the outlets that feed conservative divisiveness were doing so and the OP likely remained oblivious to how the mechanisms being criticised through implication in this thread are very much alive and thriving among the ecosystem of conservative outlets removed from the networks and affiliates.

I've said before but will repeat it that the media messaging has markers in it that give away where folks get their information. It's sad how some of the most egregious examples come from folks who claim they don't trust mainstream sources. You can't avoid the need for engaging in good critical thinking including diversifying ones sources which include mainstream ones if one has any hope of glimpsing truth in some form.
