Re: Fox News Tried Going After Denmark.
This and other actions and executive orders that Trump has initiated and will likely initiate are very nearly as irrational as mandating teaching in our schools that the earth is flat or the center around which the rest of the universe revolves or that the value of Pi is exactly 3.0 or outlawing the teaching of evolution. How are we going to survive 4 years of this insanity? I am convinced that some of Trump's insane actions and decrees will even endanger not only the prosperity of most Americans, but even the very lives of some of us, especially some of his most ardent and ignorant and poorest supporters.
No precept or claim is more suspect or more likely to be false than one that can only be supported by invoking the claim of Divine authority for it--no matter who or what claims such authority.

Re: Fox News Tried Going After Denmark.
In a post a couple of days ago you said that there are more than 150 million people who simply cannot be fit into the rigid categories of exclusively either male or female. That is simply a false statement and is very insensitive on your part. According to Medical News Today, 75% of the 150 million people you're speaking of identity as either male or female, that's their identity, you nor Canpakes get to deny them their identity just so you can try to make an unscientific point to gain browny points on the board.
OK, you say there's 150 million people who cannot be fit into the rigid categories of exclusively male or female. For you to get to the number 150 million, you have to include Klinefelter syndrome, which is a male syndrome, Turner syndrome ,which is a female syndrome, along with adrenal hyperplasia. But as usual, progressives have broadened the term intersex to include who ever they want to include and science be damned!
If the term intersex is to retain any meaning at all, the term should be restricted to those conditions in which chromosomal sex is inconsistent with phenotypic sex, or in which the phenotype is not classifiable as either male or female. Applying those more precise definitions , the true prevalence of intersex is seen to be about 0.018% which is around 100 times less than your 150 million number. How common is intersex? a response to Anne Fausto-Sterling - PubMed https://search.app/g2i8LnNSiG12JnNx9
There's 8 billion people on earth and 0.018% of 8 billion is around 14 million. This is science, not broadening the definition of intersex so progressives can get to 150 million. So let's stick with actual science please.

https://www.forbes.com/sites/kimelsesse ... gical-sex/The biology of sex is real, but it’s extremely complicated, and there is sometimes no easy way to draw a line between the biologically male and female. According to the BBC documentary, Me, My Sex and I, “There are about a dozen different conditions that blur the line between male and female. They’re known as disorders of sexual development or DSDs…. Altogether, DSDs occur as frequently as twins or red hair.”
What's 2% of 8 billion?Chromosomes
Most think chromosomes hold the key to biological sex, but that’s not always the case. Typically, those with two X chromosomes are considered biologically female and those with one X and one Y chromosome are considered biologically male. However, a DSD known as Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome (AIS) leads some to have an X and Y chromosome, but physically appear to be girls. Without genetic testing, babies with AIS are often assigned female sex at birth and are raised as girls. They may not realize they are not biologically female until they hit puberty and don’t begin to menstruate.
Genitalia
The presence or lack of a penis is often thought of as another clear indicator of biological sex, but that’s not a decisive way to divide the sexes either. Some individuals are born with ambiguous genitalia and are not clearly male or female in genital appearance at birth. In fact, research indicates that about 2% of the population is born with these ambiguous traits. Those born with congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH), for example, are chromosomally female but may have very masculinized genitalia. Despite the ambiguity, biological sex is often assigned to these individuals within a few days of birth.
If a baby has a womb and testicles are they male or female in the United States of Trumpland? When genitalia is ambiguous, doctors try to determine biological sex by examining many indicators. In addition to chromosomes, doctors will examine if the baby has ovaries or testes, and whether or not they have a womb. Doctors also look at the hormones being produced and try to guess how the baby’s genitals will develop. To complicate the process, the results from each of these tests may not be clearly male or female but could fall somewhere in between. A baby may have a womb and may also have testicles inside their body. Rather than take a “wait and see” approach, doctors often still feel compelled to choose one sex for the baby.

Let's consider Gunnar's figure, 150 million. Gunnar mentioned that number but conveniently overlooked the fact that 75% of the 150 million identify as male or female. That is their identity, yet you and Gunnar prefer not to highlight it as it detracts from your progressive narrative.
Your aim is to maximize the number to support the argument that there exists a third gender, or potentially thousands more. Your implication that anyone who falls within your 150 million figure lacks the ability to identify is not entirely accurate, as 75% do identify as either male or female. However, that may not be what you wish to hear! You want to believe that they are all confused, as this supports your progressive narrative in expanding its reach. Essentially, you are projecting your own needs onto them rather than accepting them for who they truly are.
Alright, your number is 160 million, which represents 2% of 8 billion. Are you able to acknowledge that 75% of the 160 million identify as either male or female? Intersex: When binary notions simply don’t fit https://search.app/563ktasvFEcTXArA7

Not anymore. Trump signed a declaration proclaiming only two sexes. Those others (as well as scientists who write about it) are at risk of being burnt at the stake. Or possibly sent off to Greenland after the conclusion of the Danish war.Hound of Heaven wrote: ↑Thu Jan 23, 2025 2:25 pmThere's 8 billion people on earth and 0.018% of 8 billion is around 14 million. I remember the last time you repeated this lie, I challenged you to name a single progressive in a position of power in the Democrat party, or point to a single policy the Democrat party is pushing that is too egregiously progressive, and you couldn't do it. So again, every time you repeat this, I'm going to challenge you to produce a single example, which you won't be able to do. see ya next time I guess.Hound of Heaven wrote: ↑Tue Jan 21, 2025 1:30 pm
You continue to inquire about policies and my beliefs, yet you fail to grasp the reasons behind my opposition to the progressive movement leading the Democratic agenda.

Actually, genius, nobody is denying anyone their identity, and SCIENCE has long understood the difference between sex and gender. You're purposely conflating those two so you don't look like the bigot you are.Hound of Heaven wrote: ↑Thu Jan 23, 2025 4:08 pm

If an intersex individual identifies as male or female, should we acknowledge their identification?Molok wrote: ↑Thu Jan 23, 2025 4:43 pmActually, genius, nobody is denying anyone their identity, and SCIENCE has long understood the difference between sex and gender.
