Oh, he's losing alright. Stealing money from the state to prop up his wife's political ambitions is losing. Loser, loser, loser. He couldn't even beat Trump, a man with a sub-100 IQ. I'll tell you why Deathsantis won: media manipulation, old people, and Christian heresy. The first part is easy: all these right-wing media outlets funded by billionaires show their captured audience a well-curated narrative. If they can't see how stupid, venal, and crazy these weirdos are, then they continue to imagine that this is more or less working out.

The next element of the formula is Baby Boomers. Old people living in the past who still whisper "fag" under their breath and want to say it loud and proud. Old people who think that "those uppity blacks" should be satisfied with the concessions "good white folk" like them deigned to give.

The final element is Christian heresy. False Christianity that has left behind ministering, preaching, and witnessing for grift and authoritarianism. These are the folks who have such a crappy argument that they have to cheat, lie, steal, and force their beliefs on others. Because they have no faith. The degree to which they have to force others to follow their rules reveals the extent to which they don't believe what they preach, don't have faith it will work, and try to convince themselves they have something by bullying everyone else into their cultish lifestyle.

That is why Deathsantis won. But he is increasingly unpopular because he is a loser. No one really likes him. He is a stooge for oligarchs and the global fascist movement. All of them are weirdos, freaks, psychos, and losers. If they can't steal it, they can't claim to win it. Because they sure as crap can't win it fair and square.
