Didn’t the Capitol police smoke an unarmed white woman who was also a veteran?

Unarmed? She was spearheading a mob of 12,000+ who had stormed the Capitol with intentions to kill anyone who got in their way. That makes her far more an imminent threat than some unarmed black guy driving off in his car. The fact that you're using this as some kind of proof that the meme is wrong is pretty hilarious because you clearly don't get the significance of ONLY ONE white person being shot out of THOUSANDS who were doing precisely the same thing.

The fact is most of the Capitol officers gave way to a crowd of white supremacists, some even open the gates for them. One cop said in an interview that he thought about firing on the people attacking him but he decided not to because by shooting someone he would have ensured his own demise. He took a beating instead.

You mean 'the Capitol', right? and she wasn't 'disobeying a police order when entering' it, like she turned left when an officer said 'turn right Ma'am'. She was part of a violent mob that was trying to break down a barricaded door that was the last line of defence to stop the mob getting into the Speaker's Corridor that leads into the House of Representatives. The mob had finally succeeded in smashing the armoured glass of the door, and she was climbing through into the lobby when she was shot by the policemen who was the last defender on the other side of the door.

People aren't rioting about her getting shot by the officer doing his duty to defend Congress against a violent mob because even people like ajax would be embarrassed to protest against this brave officer doing what he had to do under terrifying circumstances.
The point is despite the image complaining about whitey (or Trumpers or Qtards, whatever) not suffering the same heavy-handed fate that black folks experience by LEOs, a woman was shot dead - and we’re talking about a historically marginalized demographic if one wants to throw that into the mix - and ~414 people have been systematically hunted down, arrested, and charged for their crimes. Is shooting people a general principle that can be applied to people who throw bricks at police, or attempt to burn down court houses or businesses because of a political axe to grind? Are extrajudicial killings cool as long as the person being killed is on the wrong side of the law or an ideology? I have zero sympathy for Babbitt for a multitude of reasons, but she was, in fact not armed, could’ve been detained, and could’ve argued her case in front of a judge or jury. She was, uh, adjudicated expeditiously, instead. The image posted was just partisan pot stirring with no basis in reality.

You're focusing on one common denominator (no gun) and ignoring the plethora of differences that invalidate your point. You do this all the time for some weird reason. Surely you're able to see these are not apples/apples here.

Were the police at the capital riot in mortal danger?
The fact that you're even asking this question pretty much validates everything we've said about you. You're pathetically ill informed and this is by choice.

Didn't the lady who shot my wife have extensive training with her sidearms and trained others? In other words, there is absolutely NO WAY a person that's even passingly familiar with their service weapon and a taser, even if the taser has a grip, could confuse the two upon grabbing one or the other.
There are 696,644 full-time law enforcement officers employed in the US; you don't think some of them make idiotic mistakes? Accidents happen during tense situations and when your cognitive skills are in decline. It doesn't matter how much training you have.

The officer was arrested and charged with 2nd degree manslaughter.
I think the jury got it wrong.

I'm convinced that woman shot that dude, and then stated on camera that she was confused in order to reduce the inevitable charges.
Why do you think she shot him then?
Bad training? Cavalier attitude towards killing? Drugs? Inability to distinguish her service revolver from a taser/general incompetence?

If I make mistake in an emergency situation I lose my license and face criminal charges. Those situations are sometimes just as violent. Hell, before I was an RN I worked in group homes and was expected to restrain people three times my weight without hurting them. There was little to no concern about my health and safety, but the resident better not so have as much as bruise on them or the state would be all over us. Cops kill people with developmental disabilities and mental health disorders with no repercussion. I don't see why people with guns (not to mention less lethal methods) and the authority to use them should be held to such a lower standard than me.
