I like the amalgam. It suits our President well. And it is still significantly less muddled than his foreign policy.

Seriously, not even you can defend what he said on stage and in front of the world yesterday.

more like a "concoction".
and I am unclear on what needs to be defended with regards to "what he said on stage and in front of the world yesterday."

Are you upset that the DNC server evidence was collected by a company hired by the DNC and not collected by the intelligence community ? and that you find no resolution to why the DNC would refuse to let the FBI investigate the crime scene?
Did Trump exposing this glaring faith-based position of yours embarrass you in some way?

Otherwise, I am not sure what you are upset about, but perhaps you can clarify what needs to be defended?

DNC would refuse to let the FBI investigate the crime scene?
This is a straight up lie.

Trump:
“President Putin said it’s not Russia. I don’t see any reason why it should be … I will tell you, President Putin was extremely strong and powerful in his denial.”

President Trump proved not only unable, but unwilling to stand up to Putin. He and Putin seemed to be speaking from the same script as the president made a conscious choice to defend a tyrant against the fair questions of a free press, and to grant Putin an uncontested platform to spew propaganda and lies to the world.

It is tempting to describe the press conference as a pathetic rout – as an illustration of the perils of under-preparation and inexperience. But these were not the errant tweets of a novice politician. These were the deliberate choices of a president who seems determined to realize his delusions of a warm relationship with Putin’s regime without any regard for the true nature of his rule, his violent disregard for the sovereignty of his neighbors, his complicity in the slaughter of the Syrian people, his violation of international treaties, and his assault on democratic institutions throughout the world.

Coming close on the heels of President Trump’s bombastic and erratic conduct towards our closest friends and allies in Brussels and Britain, today’s press conference marks a recent low point in the history of the American Presidency. That the president was attended in Helsinki by a team of competent and patriotic advisors makes his blunders and capitulations all the more painful and inexplicable.

No prior president has ever abased himself more abjectly before a tyrant. Not only did President Trump fail to speak the truth about an adversary; but speaking for America to the world, our president failed to defend all that makes us who we are—a republic of free people dedicated to the cause of liberty at home and abroad. American presidents must be the champions of that cause if it is to succeed. Americans are waiting and hoping for President Trump to embrace that sacred responsibility. One can only hope they are not waiting totally in vain.

Remember that time when Bin Laden denied involvement in 9/11 and Bush said he believed him?

http://www.cnn.com/2001/US/09/16/inv.binladen.denial/

DOHA, Qatar (CNN) -- Islamic militant leader Osama bin Laden, the man the United States considers the prime suspect in last week's terrorist attacks on New York and Washington, denied any role Sunday in the actions believed to have killed thousands.

In a statement issued to the Arabic satellite channel Al Jazeera, based in Qatar, bin Laden said, "The U.S. government has consistently blamed me for being behind every occasion its enemies attack it.

"I would like to assure the world that I did not plan the recent attacks, which seems to have been planned by people for personal reasons," bin Laden's statement said.

"I have been living in the Islamic emirate of Afghanistan and following its leaders' rules. The current leader does not allow me to exercise such operations," bin Laden said.

Asked Sunday if he believed bin Laden's denial, President Bush said, "No question he is the prime suspect. No question about that."

Oh wait. Bush didn't believe Bin Laden. My bad. I assumed such a strong denial by such a strong and tall man would be believed by the American President.

McCain, the plutocrat, holding the state of Arizona hostage with his ego. Even with brain cancer the man won't step aside and allow Arizona to have representation. I have heard credible rumor through friends of mine in the AZ GOP that he is refusing to step down because he wants his wife appointed to succeed him but there is resistance to this idea. No joke.

Anyone remember this from the 2016 debates? Still relevant.

CLINTON: Well, that’s because he’d rather have a puppet as president of the United States.
Trump: No puppet. No puppet.
CLINTON: And it’s pretty clear...
Trump: You’re the puppet!
CLINTON: It’s pretty clear you won’t admit...
Trump: No, you’re the puppet.
CLINTON: ... that the Russians have engaged in cyberattacks against the United States of America, that you encouraged espionage against our people, that you are willing to spout the Putin line, sign up for his wish list, break up NATO, do whatever he wants to do, and that you continue to get help from him, because he has a very clear favorite in this race.
So I think that this is such an unprecedented situation. We’ve never had a foreign government trying to interfere in our election. We have 17 — 17 intelligence agencies, civilian and military, who have all concluded that these espionage attacks, these cyberattacks, come from the highest levels of the Kremlin and they are designed to influence our election. I find that deeply disturbing.
WALLACE: Secretary Clinton...
CLINTON: And I think it’s time you take a stand...
Trump: She has no idea whether it’s Russia, China, or anybody else.
CLINTON: I am not quoting myself.
Trump: She has no idea.
CLINTON: I am quoting 17...
Trump: Hillary, you have no idea.
CLINTON: ... 17 intelligence — do you doubt 17 military and civilian...
Trump: And our country has no idea.
CLINTON: ... agencies.
Trump: Yeah, I doubt it. I doubt it.
CLINTON: Well, he’d rather believe Vladimir Putin than the military and civilian intelligence professionals who are sworn to protect us. I find that just absolutely...
(CROSSTALK)
Trump: She doesn’t like Putin because Putin has outsmarted her at every step of the way.
