So I understand a little bit about thyroids and not sure how adjusting a thyroid medically can compare to changing ones sex and gender, especially with cosmetic surgery.

It is part of the process Jersey Girl. And I am not sure if you can really change anyones sex, we are what we are…but this a conversation and we can inject critical thought here. There are Hormones that promote male and female characteristics. Women have for lack or a better term “their hormones”and men theirs. I am not sure what you are trying to promote, there are primary Hormones such as estrogen for a woman and testosterone for a man…each can have small level of the other but from what I have read, but just small amounts.
Caitlyn Jenner implied this to Sean Hannity that she could probably compete on the LPGA tour, she said she could still hit the ball 280 yards despite the hormone treatments. Granted he was a world class athlete as a man, but the point is her body, despite all the treatments is still a mans body.

You are talking about genetically altered human beings, not the natural order of nature, whether you believe in a creator or in evolution…again apples and oranges.
Genetic alterations are part of the natural order. You are genetically altered at birth and throughout life. You still avoided the question whether a man who is altered to become a woman to the point of being able to get pregnant should be defined as a women or a man, and why.

Well I certainly do now what a women is and I know what a woman is not. It may be disguised or hidden, but a definition of a woman is a female, and the definition of a man is a male. You can play with words and alter nature all you want, but all the typing on keyboards can’t change nature. It cracks me upon how folks digest what ever they are told to digest, it is a what I will call the “ emperors new clothes” syndrome (ENCS)
You should try to to tell this to a male dog, they certainly know what female is unless they have been altered, and they can’t even read!
I tell you what put a 100 healthy males that haven’t been tampered with on an island with 100 men biological altered men that call themselves females on an island, and see if the population grows? Or do the same with 100 healthy females that have not been altered on an island with 100 women with peckers that have been sewed on, and see how many children they produce?

This is at least a little to how you define a male and female. It's a popular one for those apposed to people who get sex changes, but you at least admit if we can alter a man into a women enough for them to get pregnant they qualify as being a women.
