My prediction.
If Trump/Vance win, Vance will continue to publicly deny wearing eye-liner but will show up to the Inauguration and every other public event for the next 4 years wearing eye-liner.

Re: Predictions - 2024 Election
Based on the recent polls in Kansas and Iowa, Harris gets a larger share of the popular and electoral votes than Biden in 2020.

The fellow that you want to vote into office keeps promising to put RFK Jr. in charge of the nation’s health infrastructure, and is discussing the elimination of vaccines on the basis of ignorance and conspiracy theories:
It’s weird to claim to be against aborting a fetus but then be in favor of allowing millions of actual children to die horribly from otherwise easily-preventable diseases in a bid to appeal to ignorance, for votes. Your preferred candidate has some strange thinking. The co-chair of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s transition team promoted the debunked theory that vaccines cause autism in a CNN interview Wednesday. He also said Trump ally Robert F. Kennedy Jr., hopes to get “data” through a Trump administration to have vaccines pulled “off the market.”

Between this new development, his failed economic policies and his immigration priorities allowing hordes of rapists and murderers to enter the country, I don’t think that I’ll vote for the fraud-convicted, wife-cheating sexual abuser guy. Sorry.

I completely understand that you, having such a serious case of TDS combined with having a single motive for participating on this board (that being spending 98% of your time questioning/challenging/condemning your imagined political enemies) but given the topic of the thread (predictions of the upcoming election) I can't understand why you would have decided to post your above political rant against me in this thread.canpakes wrote: ↑Sun Nov 03, 2024 10:00 pmThe fellow that you want to vote into office keeps promising to put RFK Jr. in charge of the nation’s health infrastructure, and is discussing the elimination of vaccines on the basis of ignorance and conspiracy theories:

Actually, given the collection of your posts that I have read, I can understand it.

Re: Predictions - 2024 Election
This thread is getting extremely ugly. Just pointing that out.
Here's my revised election prediction: Screw this election.
It's not worth what it is doing to people...and to us here on the board.
I live my life with someone I disagree with politically. I've never once seen fit to lay into him though I will admit I've been tempted. But it's not worth damaging relationships because there is far more to him than what he thinks about whatever candidate and he's free to think it.
And there is far more to everyone here.
So yeah, screw it.

Any opportunity for those who belong to the attacking intolerant ideological mob here (our relentless board bullies), has been taken and used to personally demean, condemn, and assault specific members of this board.

Ceebs, I’m pretty sure that you’re not the fraud-convicted, wife-cheating sexual abuser guy running for President that I referred to. : Dceeboo wrote: ↑Sun Nov 03, 2024 10:17 pmI completely understand that you, having such a serious case of TDS combined with having a single motive for participating on this board (that being spending 98% of your time questioning/challenging/condemning your imagined political enemies) but given the topic of the thread (predictions of the upcoming election) I can't understand why you would have decided to post your above political rant against me in this thread.

Re: Predictions - 2024 Election
Though I would want to post here more frequently, I really don't know why some posters are let to be so nasty and hostile. The guidelines especially say that every point of view is accepted. The fact that the moderators behave as though they do not even know the bullying is occurring until a poster reports a rule infringement makes things even more perplexing. It makes no sense; they are engaging on the threads that people are attacking some board members. Why do they not simply speak out and urge the bullies to stop?Jersey Girl wrote: ↑Sun Nov 03, 2024 10:35 pmThis thread is getting extremely ugly. Just pointing that out.

Yes, sometimes folks seem hostile. As example, I once posted an opinion about a presidential candidate and was then told that I have TDS and am “condemning (my) imagined political enemies”.Hound of Heaven wrote: ↑Sun Nov 03, 2024 11:25 pmThough I would want to post here more frequently, I really don't know why some posters are let to be so nasty and hostile. Political discussions can be that way, at times.

Relax. You have sixteen posts under this handle. It’s a little early to be moaning about this mods and tenor of the board. Gotta sell it a little more than that.Hound of Heaven wrote: ↑Sun Nov 03, 2024 11:25 pmThough I would want to post here more frequently, I really don't know why some posters are let to be so nasty and hostile.
