Sadly, I don't think you do.
Then you don’t see what your biases comunicate to most of us here. Or maybe you just don’t understand yourself.
Your proclamations about what I am cool with are merely your proclamations and have no grounding in reality. If you even become curious about what I am cool with - you could ask me, but I probably will not reply.
If you don’t like what your posts suggest to others, then change your posts. You consistently excuse by omission the racism, fascism, hatred, lawlessness, and cruelty of the politicians you support and defend.
Correct! I am not cool with riots, or rioters, or those who support riots, or those who support rioters.

How about you - Are you a fan of the 2020 riots? How about the rioters?
I am not “cool” with rioters, but I understand that suffering can drive people to riot. I don’t find rioting more disturbing than robbing people of access to healthcare, white collar criminals who cheat and defraud others, religious zealots who believe that everyone should live by their special rules. In the present world of authoritarian faux-conservatism, a burning car and a Mexican flag are what nightmares are made of, but cutting taxes on the insanely wealthy and taking away the healthcare of millions is the stuff dreams are made of. Making a nine-year-old girl bear the child of the priest who raped her is “God’s will.”

You’ll find I am not a fan of any of those things.

Weird. You voted for the same guy again who was in office at that time.

I should be happy if our president and his authoritarian lickspittles and goons followed the law. They are much more frightening than any criminal on that list. When the law is not followed in enforcing the law, there is no rule of law.

But that, of course, is exactly what the fascists want.
What law was not followed?
Trump has effectively made immigration a war in order to then invoke executive actions without congressional approval. This includes declaring national emergency at the border and invoked the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 to then pursue the executive actions. Doing so require him to declare an actual invasion of the US was underway. An actual, literal military-style invasion. Trump put the US on a wartime footing regarding immigration and is engaging in wartime activities on our soil. Wars cost money and there was a reason Stephen Miller practically cried when resistance to the Big Beautiful Bill mounted specifically over the spending and debt it requires. Wars cost money and Trump is declaring a war here in the US. It's in the play book as Dr Cam pointed out and it's being done for a reason. Folks like Peter Thiel and the podium of billionaires at the inauguration do not believe in democracy. They say this openly. And they can because folks who support Trump can't overcome the need to be loyal to their vote to stop and ask if maybe you all are the mob needed to bring authoritarian rule to the states.

My OP is, in some ways, a Mark Anthony eulogy of Caesar for our Republic.

It’s a bit disappointing and ironic to see how easily some people will sooner become cowards or monsters rather than confront the fragility of their own ego.

I've never seen you condemn the J6 rioters. You are a liar.

You can pretend to be indignant, but you are just as much to blame as all the other damned morons destroying this country you pretend to love. You are a fan of lawlessness; you voted for it. Quit pretending you give a damn about riots, you lying piece of crap.
Religion is for people whose existential fear is greater than their common sense.

The god idea is popular with desperate people.

...catastrophic border failure...
Could you be factually specific in what you define as "catastrophic border failure"? Not just the sound bite version, but what you understand to be the specific facts of the situation that you define as "catastrophic border failure"? I am curious as to what personal analysis of facts and specifics you have engaged in.
So, no response. No surprise. Someone else said this to you, though, which seems to be the best take.

To someone who has serious hearing challenges, it might sound like that.

For those who are fortunate enough to be able to hear and see without serious challenges, it looks and sounds exactly like the summer season of 2020.
I would be greatly interested to see what you have to say about Trump's extremely embarrassing performance in the Oval Office meeting with the German Chancellor. He revealed himself to be a totally ignorant and arithmetically incompetent fool. I admire Chancellor Merz's ability to hold in his derisive laughter over Trump's idiocy!

Here again is the link to that embarrassing meeting: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3CnqC-I5PhE. I dare you to watch it and try to defend it! I'm sure it will be good for a hearty laugh!
No precept or claim is more suspect or more likely to be false than one that can only be supported by invoking the claim of Divine authority for it--no matter who or what claims such authority.

Weird indeed that Trump’s lawless, corrupt, authoritarian behavior results in riots. Weird.

No one here is saying that people committing violent acts and vandalism like in the videos you posted should not be arrested and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. You are straw manning and grasping at straws, as you very often do.

No one is more blatantly ignoring and trying to circumvent the law for his own selfish and corrupt agenda than Donald J. Trump!

Donald Trump Changes DOJ Rules SO HE CAN START ARRESTING DEMOCRATS!!!
Yes they are, that is what a sanctuary city does, it gives sanctuary to all sorts of illegal immigrant criminals. LA has a law in place where a local law enforcement officer can arrest a person for crime, whether minor or serious, and that person is illegally here, they can not contact ICE for removal or retainer. You have no idea what you are even talking about. You can disagree, or agree with that policy, but at least educate yourself on the fact.

If you are actually support the arrest of these people, then support it and quit making excuses. People are shooting illegal fire works at law enforcement, throwing rocks and chucks of side walks, they are breaking out sledge hammers, and looting and burning.

Start a thread on that Gunnar, and show how you support it.
Gunnar wrote:This is the very thing Trump falsely accuses his opponents of doing! There are already numerous instances where he unlawfully detained and tried to prosecute people merely for exercising their constitutionally guaranteed right to freedom of speech merely for saying or printing something criticizing or disagreeing with him even on trivial matters. Most of his own fellow GOP members are terrified of expressing any kind of disagreement with him or even just refusing to repeat his lies!

"the President is unable with the regular forces to execute the laws of the United States;"

No, you are in denials.
If this were true, you would think that California would have come to seek his help. The truth is that Democrat presidents were able to deport more people with less trouble. Without federalizing the National Guard, without sending in the Marines, without kidnapping citizens and people legally in the United States. The simple fact is that your boys suck ass, but you love watching them throw bad and illegal violence after incompetent first efforts. You're just in it for the sadism and the war porn.
The democrats deported easily because the right and left wing press supported it.

If you have been paying attention the LAPD stated they are overwhelmed. Trump has so far stopped a full blown riot. You again in your bubble have no idea what is going on in these hot beds.

The first efforts were the LAPD and Sheriffs department that are politically hamstringed by Newsome and Bass. But I am sure you appreciate thugs looting stores and stoning law enforcement burning American flags while waving Mexican and Central American flags.
