I completely failed today. My memory had a different shape in mind for the place it is. I had a hard time seeing it even when given the answer after my wrong guesses.

I will ware my dunce hat for a bit.

Speaking of Wordle, etc., one of the words recently was “tapir.” Not “taper,” but “tapir.” That is all.

I convinced my wife to play today and she had the same one I had today. So it didn't start her at the same one I started with a couple of weeks ago. I wonder if it's just a matter of an app clock quirk that makes it so I am a day ahead of everyone on the board who tried it that first day I posted?

So...anyone who hasn't tried it out and wants an easy one out of the gate, now's the time.

I will add she gave me a little grief over my saying it was kicking my butt...

Maybe it starts on Sundays? Not sure.

Uh, I'm too dense to get the clue. But maybe?

That is what I had today too, as expected. Yeah when you tell people the game is hard and then it opens with that it is a little troll.

Just wait, the humbling will come. Even as I've done better than I expected (who knew model UN would take me so far) I've still had plenty of full "hurrrr...durrr... where?" moments

I discovered to day that the clue about average distance from ones guess refers to the whole location, not the border. That makes a significant difference if large locations are involved.
