I will never date someone under the age of 18, even if the legal age of consent is 16 or 17. EAllusion's comment was not appropriate.

I honestly don't understand why it is disturbing, but I deleted that comment.
You need to get to where you understand and wouldn't think the thoughts that gave rise to the comment.

Serious question - why do you keep coming back and digging deeper? You wanted the thread to die. You have all the control there. Yeah, some people will respond or post. But if you don't post afterward, you might find the results are what you wanted. Even if someone decides to post in it daily because people can be like that, who would care if you respect your own wish?

Or at least, get to a place where the second thought after the first disturbing one is a thought that tries to understand and move beyond. If you argue that you can’t control your first thought, DT, I would argue that the point is moot, because you can certainly control your second thought.

Please tell me in English. I don't understand what you are saying. Can you please explain your thoughts of thoughts?

I was just trying make an argument to show that I am not interested in Ephebophilia, like EAllusion suggested. I would never risk going to jail.

What thoughts gave rise to the comment?

Like I said, " I will never date someone under the age of 18, even if the legal age of consent is 16 or 17. EAllusion's comment was not appropriate." That being said I do not believe a person deserves years in prison for dating a 16 year old. I said earlier in the thread

there is no evidence that an older teenager is scarred for life if the sex is consensual according to some research papers I read. No evidence of trauma, depression, or some serious damage if it was consensual according to the papers. So maybe 20 years of prison is too harsh
Joe Rogan and many others expressed a similiar opinion. But don't get me wrong, I do believe society shouldn't tolerate adults dating older teenagers.

I am complicated. Like a smoker that wants to quit smoking. It will end soon.

So you respond with this?

I was just trying make an argument to show that I am not interested in Ephebophilia. EAllusion is probably interested, but not me. I would never risk going to jail.
That comment about EAllusion is what is not appropriate.
