It’s an odd day when I discover that Liz Cheney and I are in agreement. Here’s a 21 page memo that clearly explains why there is no constitutional or statutory basis for Congress to disregard votes cast by the state-certified slates of electors. It also contains an excellent summary of the cases that have been filed to challenge the election.

Oh yeah, Liz Cheney is one of the handful of Republicans with a spine. I've actually found myself in agreement with many things she's said over the last 4 years.

This is a good example of right-wing vote casting: mass challenging voter eligibility based on post office change of address forms. This disenfranchises military voters as well as students. In this case, one guy, representing voter suppression organization True the Vote challenged 4000 voters’ eligibility before the run off. Read the descriptions of the legal Georgia residents who were not told who challenged their vote or why and were told they had to attend a hearing at a specific date and time (live attendance during a pandemic) to prove their right to vote.

This morning I voted. This time around I noticed that we had to sign our signature on a computer I-pad type device using our finger. If this thing gets audited, I totally expect them to red flag my vote since there is no way in hell that resembles my actual signature. I'm 6'3" and I had to lean down and forward with my neck tilted up just to awkwardly try to scribble something resembling my name on a 11" screen that was being held my a little old lady 4 ft off the ground.
