So, your “doing something about it” is to post on an obscure message board that Mitt Romney’s father, George Romney, who is dead, should have his wealth stripped from him? I’m not sure cleverness is your strong suit.

If George Romney and his heirs shared the wealth and promotions that were generated by the consolidation of the independent auto companies then we should not redistribute his wealth. If George Romney and his heirs benefited from racial inequality we should revisit that or see if we like what they are doing today. It is probably easier to just have Mitt on our side for now.

I also included promotions. I do not think agree with your suggestion that black or brown people should take their stuff. No way to that. We need to redistribute systemically but in an opposite direction and if some groups rose to wealth or power because of systemic racism we should remove their wealth and power if it is not helpful for us right now. Not doing this is racist.

George Romney took a lot of heat from the Church for marching and supporting Civil Rights.

You might say that George Romney was one of the good Republicans and was a credit to his party. The Brethren disliked his support for civil rights, but that was due to their own failings and separation from God.
