No possible way Mr. Maybelline will agree to debate Mr. Walz.
These digs at his appearance make me feel uncomfortable, especially since he has said he felt same sex attraction as a youth. There could easily be some self-hatred motivating his anti-LGBT actions as a politician.
If that is the case then he presents a danger to our LGBTQ community. He doesn't need to be running for VP of the US. He needs a good therapist. The American public isn't here to hold his hand. We're here to hire a guy for a job. If he can't separate personal problems from professional, he's got no business running for the position.
For the record. He's using eyeliner not mascara and he needs to learn how to apply it properly. If he's gonna rag on women, I'm gonna rag on his attempt at creating the smokey eye.

Policy aside, a couple of leaders with a good vibe about them will hopefully go a long way with voters. Trump and Vance have got to be the gloomiest fear mongers who have ever ran for office.
The energy looked good and I think your point is very salient Dean, positivity can go a long way in this political environment.
I hope they will as well, but I think the GOP is setting the expectation that they'll only do so under the most favorable conditions. On paper Walz is a very strong matchup and I don't imagine Vance is chomping at the bit to get on stage and potentially get exposed.

Some really solid reporting from the AP about the selection process. It really does sound like it mostly came down to 2 points. First, Harris seems to genuinely believe she can really work with Walz on the things she wants to do. Second, the first "weird" comment from Walz was just too good.

I’m here for the inevitable repetitive dad jokes that Walz will pepper us with on the regular.
Twenty bucks says he'll repeat the same joke twice in the same rally at some point, because it got a little laugh and the dad in him will be chasing the high.

Me, too. I'll admit that I'd donate another 20 dollars just to hear him do it.

The first is a lot more important than the second. I doubt the value of weird will be that enduring.
