I'm thinking the site is due for an upgrade. I'm coming up on some free time soon, and I may actually pull off something hereabouts. But, seeing as I'm definitely not a heavy user of this site, I'm not at all sure what features would be best implemented.

So, request your features!

Also, if there are any features on this site that you absolutely don't use, or that just get in your way, let me know as well.

Is there anyway to make the signature section in the profile portion longer, so that we can include more characters?

There is, but that usually gets to be one of the most abused features. I've seen many the forum where the signatures get to be several pages long, and it becomes impossible to find any actual post!

I'll add it to the list, though, and we'll have a poll once all the requests come in.

I'd like to be able to click the user's name next to their posts and have that pull up their profile from which I could search all their posts, etc.

I have some suggestions:

1. Increase the allowable characters in the titles when making a new post.
2. Allow the title of a post to end with actual quotation marks instead of transforming them into """
3. Have new registrants not show up under the "welcome to our newest member" banner until they actually verify their membership via e-mail. As it is, although spam-bots cannot post until they verify, they still show up in the member list and I have to delete them all just as before.
4. Delete the Celestial-Terrestrial-Telestial rooms in the chat room. Just have one default room titled "MormonDiscussions chat" (or something) but leave the ability to create your own rooms, etc. As it is, nobody bothers to use the Terrestrial or Telestial forums; they just chat within whatever room they're defaulted into whenever they click on the "Jon Chat" link.

Here's what I'd like to see:

1) Be able to rank threads (within a kingdom) by most replies, views, by when a thread was started, and by post starter (alphabetically)....

2) A little more space in the signatures (dang I wish I had just a few more characters)

3) The ability for Gods or whatever to change their "avatar title" (I hate having to bug Dr. Shades every time I have a semi-stupid, semi-funny thought that I'd like to have as my avatar title)

Maybe more to come....those just off the top of my (very selfish thinking) head.

I think it's a fair concern but I think doubling or tripling the limit won't be excessively long. I've had problems putting in things I want to say.

Underneath each post is a small link that goes to "profile"
