I kinda wish I lived in a place with a separate office. My office corner is starting to look like the stereotypical hacker movie setup with 5 monitors on it. This is cool for me but when I bring dates back they come through the door and see that and I expect the only thing they think is.....GEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, geek is attractive these days! Just leave a bunch of console windows open running some compiles or something. Usually all the flashing text catches their interest, and when they ask, just say "Oh, I'm loading up a few million into your bank account." If they keep asking, you can make fun of them for their ignorance, while you move on to the.... "fun" >_>
