I just received an email from Mac about the new Mac OS X v10.5 Leopard upgrade.

Is it worth the money to do right now, or can I wait?

It's $116, and I'm a little tapped out right now.

Help me Mac-ite's!

Nope, its generally a good idea to wait a while for new software. OS X is very stable the way it is now.

That's how I feel about it.

Thanks, Merc!

I'm planning on making the jump, but likely not for about a month. Just to get those initial bugs worked out, you know. Not that Mac OS X would have bugs, or anything.

Could someone refresh my memory - is the Mac OS X based on the BSD OS?
