Perhaps...but remember:
Arguing on the Internet is like competing in the Special Olympics. Even if you win you're still retarded.

I've fussed with Juliann... quite a bit! I was not banned - as far as I know? I haven't been over there to look. But pretty certain I wasn't banned for that.
I also did a 'tattle mail' and wasn't banned.

-When "MA&D" is first referenced, the full name is preferred, "FAIR/MA&D", then on subsequent reference, "MA&D" or "MAD" is acceptable.
This may have to be updated. When I visited there this weekend I noticed several MADdites referring to MAD as MADB.
I am beginning to suspect that the anachronism began to wear thin. And yet it is so very appropriate, the place with always be MAD to me.

Actually, I suspect she is reprimanding you for the use of the word "retarded" which several people around here are far too fond of, and really is very offensive.

Don't I get permission to use it since I actually contribute and help out in the Special Olympics?

It is indeed offensive.
I volunteer for a local Special Olympics and the disabilities run the gambit. Anyway, I could get into a tizzy about it... but it doesn't change the behavior on this board apparently.
It's not funny making fun of kids that have disabilities - atleast it's not to me.

Oh you do Nehor? Well that is rather shocking to me! Surely you know that plenty of participants are not mentally retarded! Why don't you ask them about that 'funny' next time you volunteer and see what kind of chuckles you get. :)
