Could people please consider...

... writing people's names in the quotation boxes? I often don't know who said what when people are quoting because people don't put anything in them.
Example:
Santa wrote:Ho Ho Ho!!!
Not:
Ho Ho Ho!!!
It is really quite simple.
When clicking quote, just type after the word quote,
="name"
Regards,
Pirate.

Usually when responding to someone I include the name in the first quote, but not subsequent ones. Thus I usually quote like this:
Father Christmas wrote:Ho ho ho
Hello Santa!
Merry Christmas
And a happy New Year!

That is good, but most people don't do that.

I do the same thing as asbestosman. Just have the name in the first quote box and not the subsequent ones. I don't usually use quotes from different posters in the same post.

I like to alter the person's name in the quote box. It can be a lot of fun. It can be confusing as well. I'll try to do it less often.
